Unless you are a professional that keeps his toolbox at work and close by, this Husky Side Tray is kinda useless.
I can see a need for this if you are a mechanic and have smaller pieces or parts that you removed and wouldn't want to get lost. Or, if you need to keep some small tools that you use often at the ready, this tray could accomplish that. But, for a nonprofessional like me, that doesn't work out of my tool box everyday, I really don't see the necessity.

Husky 10-inch Wide x 3.2-inch Deep Magnetic Side Tray with Removable Dividers is a great organizer for small metal items. This is really a utility storage tray not only for use with tool chests, but can be attached to any metal surface. The tray is large, all metal with three rubber coated magnets on one side and can hold up to four pounds. It attaches securely to a metal wall like a cabinet to hold small items. It can hold just about anything including hand tools. It has two metal dividers that can be removed by slipping them out. They are held in two fixed positions in the tray a third of the way in. It is a useful item, if you have a need, a rather unique solution in that it avoids drilling holes to secure it. It comes with Husky's lifetime warranty.

Great idea to have a few of these on any metal cart,wall or similar to hold quickly needed items. I like Husky products and use them daily and they hold up after time.It’s approx 10”x3”x3” and has 2 removable dividers for a custom size. There are 3 strong rubber coated magnets that won’t scratch the surface it’s touching and is made of a thicker metal that won’t easily bend or get damaged from tools and heavy usage. You can move it around as needed and attach to a surface or even use on a tabletop. The magnets also make a great place to hold other metal objects if used on a flat surface and hold nails/screws ready to access if used as a tool holder.

These removable dividers make this tray very versatile. It’s already 10 inches wide and more than 3 inches deep which would be the biggest but with one or two dividers it really maximizes the storage space into smaller compartments. Keeping in mind that the sides aren’t that high, I find it best to hold smaller, shorter things to make it easily accessible. The magnets are pretty large and have great staying power and the tray itself seems well made and reliable. Everyone should have this in their workshop.

I have been looking for a sidecar for my grill for quite a while. This magnetic parts tray is going to fit the bill perfectly. The two dividers in the tray can be removed, so there is quite a bit of flexibility on the size of the compartments used for storing things. There are three magnets on the back which are pretty strong. If needed, it would be easy to add an extra magnet or two for heavier items.

Well constructed and finished. Magnets are strong enough and coated as to not scratch the surface.
This certainly does the job but honestly I don’t think I’ll give it much thought when I reach for a can of brake cleaner.
