Plastic ring is a problem
Bought this a few years ago. The 12v plug head was broken very soon. The main problem is the plastic ring that holds the metal. When you run this inflator, the metal head will get hot and melt the plastic around it, which will then glue the metal head and the ring together so it's impossible to adjust/repair it.
Really disappointed because this thing is not a cheap portable inflator. Finally decided to get a new one since I couldn't get this to work no matter how I rotate and replug the 12v head.
When you buy an inflator, pay close attention to the 12v head, you'll want one with a metal ring and a metal pin. Also the pin should be longer so it's not easy to overhead the plug.

Husky in size and price
The Husky's best feature is it handles 120V and 12V DC power. The plastic housing feels cheap. The auto-off feature is nice in concept but doesn't work great in practice. You have to set the pressure 1 psi higher than needed and turn it off with the switch, let it sit for a minute and then continue to top it off until you get to the pressure you want. It inflated the 17" sport tires on my BMW 4-series from 28 psi to 35 psi in less than a minute. Cord management is ok.

Nylon Gears Failed; No Replacement Available
I bought this unit for inflating my car, truck, and boat trailer tires. It worked for a few months, so I bought another one for my wife's RAV4. Well, mine stopped pumping after a year. I put this unit to good use, but it wasn't used THAT much. When I took it apart to see what the problem was, I immediately saw that one of the nylon gears was stripped out. No replacements are available as far as I know. Conclusion: light weight unit for sport balls and auto tires less than 40 psi.

Failed after only a few uses
I purchased this because I saw how high the price was and thought this must be top quality, and I needed reliability above all else. I didn't case about cost. After only a few uses (maybe 3?) it simply stopped reading the PSI. I can set the desired PSI but it completely ignores it and stays at 0 while I'm inflating. Now I have to inflate my truck tires and try to guess the PSI, or keep disconnecting the hose and checking the PSI with another device. Extremely disappointed.

Short life
This compressor worked flawlessly about 5 or 6 times. Then I could hear the motor turning but the compressor part wasn't. I opened it up in the nylon gear had stripped out.

It puts out
Worth it! I was looking for something to inflate a bait launcher I built and I needed it to actually hit 120 psi instead of just being able to read it. It does! It was quick and shuts off when it’s done. Nice that it has ac and dc connections too. Couldn’t be more impressed.

both 12v and 120v failed. gears and piston are made out of plastic. do not buy. waste of money.

I just purchased this tire inflator after my Hyundai Sonata was showing low tire pressure after this past week's snow storm. I am tired of dealing with the air machines at the gas station and decided this was a purchase I should invest in.
The 12V power plug is incredibly long and I was able to plug it into my cigarette lighter located in the front of the car and reach all four tires with ease. Keep in mind that this comes with a two year warranty, so if I encounter any problems in the future I have that to keep me happy.
Overall, this is something you can keep in your trunk and forget about until you need to use it in a pinch.

Handy and Easy To Use
You see this, ladies? This means no more getting harassed at the gas station while I put air in my tires.
This little Husky tire inflator is very light, runs off either 12v or 120v, has onboard adapters, and a carrying handle that was a nice, handy surprise. The digital display is bright and easy to read.
You set your desired air pressure using the up or down arrows. Attach the air hose to your tire and it will tell you what your current air pressure is. If you need air then just hit the start button. It fills to the designated pressure and shuts off. Couldn’t be easier.
I used mine at home with an extension cord, but it is going in the car along with my tool set and battery box.
