1 3/4" across. So I have no suggestion other than 60 or 80 grit sandpaper.

Can you mix paint with this?

Yes, but it would make a mess and I don't recommend it. Use a paint stick.

Can the flat part be use as a chisel to scrap wood?

Kind of, it is not a chisel if you are looking to remove chunks of wood. If you are looking to scrape paint or something it would work fine. Think of it as a very stiff putty knife.

So, where's the Phillips screwdrivers?

For the people who can’t count to 15!!
So, seems there are many if you out there that can’t seem to figure out the 15 functions this product advertises that it does. I’m here to help you! I’ve circled the 15 functions, and numbered them as well. Take a look, they are all there! This is a little more ridgid than one would like. And yes, half the functions are a joke. No one would ise this as a screwdriver, unless its all you had in a pinch. Shoot, I’m sure they have better homemade tools in a prison...

Husky 15 in one paint tool. This is a heavy-duty Lifetime warrantied or guaranteed tool by Husky and Home Depot. That makes the tool worthy of a second look. The blade has a nice finished edge and has a protective coating on all sides. The handle has a nice solid hammer end for closing cans or setting nails. Overall a very good heavy duty dependable tool. The handle is a soft rubber type and makes for a good comfortable handle for all day use. After several hours of use the hammer handle end in was in great shape with little more than faint scratches. This item replaces the 14 in one paint tool. The 14 in 1 had two ¼” drive screwdriver bits stored in the handle. The bits could be used in the end of the handle and contained a straight blade and Phillip bit. But the bits were easily lost during use. This newest model has a pretty ingenious way of storing four straight blade screwdriver tips in the inside of the handle. The tips are like the old key chain type used in yesteryears. However, I think the this was not much of an improvement and since the blades are on a flat piece of metal that does not lend itself to much use as there is little leverage with the insert just a little larger than a quarter coin. I think it would have been beneficial to have had a larger wrench opening of 5/8” that would fit most spray rig hoses.

The 15 in 1 painters tool is incredible. Not only for painters though. I have discovered so many uses, opening paint cans, using as a wrench two sizes to choose from . It can pull out nails, scrape paint, spread spackle, It can also score drywall with ease. I have found this tool to be indespensible. I am finding more uses all the time. My toolbox is now complete. Great tool

"Ask not what this tool can do for you - ask what all you can do with this tool!" This is the best multi-purpose helper that every handyperson should have when doing the most tedious task in the world: painting. It simply resolves nearly every interruption that you will encounter AND it can be used to help clean paint rollers when you are finished. It's a scraper for both concave and straight surfaces and can also be used to open cracks for Spackling or caulk - then for smoothing it out, has two cutouts for large and small hex nuts found on paint sprayers, a nail puller, paint can opener and the blunt metal end on this tools handle can be used like a hammer to pound the lid back on the can. Also included (in a slot on the side of the handle) is a round, multi-bit screwdriver for removing, for example, a missed receptacle cover plate. But the most important feature is the bottle opener! That allows me to enjoy a "cold snack" while admiring my finished job.

I am use to my 5 in 1 tool that I have used for 20 years. I thought I would give this one a try and see if the extra functions were useful. For the most part they are. The nail puller, nut wrenches and screw driver tools will never replace dedicated tools, but I am finding them useful for light duty work. It beats carrying extra tools “just in case” and has saved me a couple of trips back to my tool chest. The tool has good rigidity and a comfortable handle. The 4 way screwdriver tool is securely held in the handle. And I can use the hammer end on the handle because the handle is big enough for my glove size large hand. This painter’s tool is 3/4” wider and 2” longer than my old tool. It gives me more leverage when cleaning out cracks, but isn’t so big that it has given me any issues getting into corners or other tight spaces. It is proving to be a nice replacement.

So, I had an older version of this tool that I thought was pretty good. Turns out the one I had couldn’t compare to this one. This tool is very sturdy and can do it all. Open cans, scrape rollers, pull nails out, function as a putty knife, and more. Did I mention it was very sturdy? Let me say so again. This tool is very, very well-built and is much thicker and higher quality than the old tool that I had. If you are going to prep walls for painting and then paint, you really should have this tool.

Just like a hammer or screwdriver, this handy 15-IN-1 PAINTER'S TOOL belongs in every single household! Speaking for myself, I can tell you that this is one of the most versatile tools that I own! It has a super sturdy scraping blade, a paint can opener, a nail puller, and looks like a couple of built in wrenches. The handle can be used as a makeshift hammer too. I like the way it can get into corners because of its sharp pointed edge. It has a very nice non slip handle that allows yo to hang on to it, even when wet! If you're looking for the perfect all around utility tool, look no farther!

Husky 15-in-1 Painter's Tool – I don’t have a need for a painter’s Swiss army knife, but, then I’m not a painter. Painters and people who do paint a lot will find many of the functions of this tool useful. What I really look for is a good handle with a rigid blade to use as a scraper or a putty knife and the curved edge for cleaning paint out of a roller before washing; the bottle opener, though, is a nice addition. The Husky tool is great for what it does for me. It is well made, comfortable to hold and comes with a great warranty. Other built in uses include: using the handle as a hammer for pounding the lid back on the paint can, four slotted screwdriver bits for unscrewing cover-plates for light switches and outlets, large and small hex nut wrenches, concave scraper, nail puller, crack opener and paint can opener.

The Husky fifteen in one, very stiff painter's tool, combines the usual spreader, chisel / scraper, a paint can opener, a roller scraper, a nail puller, caulk remover / crack opener (if you painted the window or door shut) and then adds several screwdrivers, several Philips screwdrivers, knife edge, half inch and three eighths inch wrenches, bottle opener. I know, that is not all of them and will need to play around with it to figure it all out. PLUS being a HUSKY it comes with a lifetime warranty, no questions asked. One extremely sturdy tool!

BASIC FEATURES OK; ADDED FEATURES NOT TOO USEFUL — The Husky 15-in-1 Painter's Tool has 10 more features than my current 5-in-1 painter's tool that I have used for years. I was intrigued by the additional features and thought that they might be useful. Unfortunately none of the additional features are particularly useful. They might be OK if you do not have access to a putty knife, screwdriver, or wrench. It is better to use a flexible putty knife in spreading spackling than using this tool. The handle is not as wide or as comfortable as my current tool’s handle. See photo. The very small screwdriver with four slotted sizes that fits in the handle probably counts for four features but it is not easy to use because you get almost no torque. See photo. It would have been helpful to have had a list of the 15 functions in case I missed something important. Since the basic functions work OK this is an acceptable tool, but I would recommend getting a good 5-in-1 tool instead. It has the Husky lifetime warranty. It is made in China.
