AnswersI would try the Ames 2 prong weeder. It is lighter with a 3.5 inch flat blade and a 2 tine blade on reverse to allow to till soil on both sides of newly planted seeds. The handle is 54 inches which means you can work standing up in a more comfortable position.

Versatile Tool, But It Bent, So Exchanged For A New!

Bought this pick to till my backyard, remove rocks, take out some bushes, buried roots. It did a great job, was easy to do all that. Can’t imagine any other tool that could have been helpful but it bent when I started taking out some bushes. I hit the plant at a certain angle and it bounced back with a bend.

I bought the tool to remove some landscape hedges and the blade folded like a stick of gum on the very first strike. Very low quality. HD refunded my purchase without question but I lost about an hour's time returning it. Unfortunately, they don't really have any higher quality hand-tools at the store.
