My modle was missing parts. I didn't notice till i got home. I believe this happened in store and not Huskys fault. Just wish I could use my 540.00 compressor. Husky was notified and I believe they are sending me parts . I was disappointed that you cannot buy a rebuild kit. In order to fix this you have to purchase the whole assembly. If it happens out of warranty, it will cost 110.00 plus shipping.

Burned after 1day, other came leaking air
Bought this compressor, and after a couple of hours of use it burned. Motor ran but it didn't want to compress air. Reclaimed warranty, they agreed and gave me another, well guess what it leaked air from everywhere in the valves. Had to get my wrench and check for leaks and tighten everything. Also the valve had to be left in an awkward position to avoid it from leaking and cant put platic cover on no more. Quality control must be garbage for husky. Supper disappointed...

This is a quiet compressor compared to my old one. You can stay in the garage and talk to someone while it is running. I give it 3 stars for quality control. I did the prestart and stopped it half way filled, that's when I heard the air leaking out. Must not have run the compressor before leaving the factory, they would have noticed/heard the leak. Took me 45 min to find the leak. The clamp for the rubber hose on the manifold was not crimped tight enough, removed the clamp and put a new one on. Be warned about the quality control when you are looking at this compressor.

Compressor good, Regulator is a weak point
The regulator knob is a very weak point. It's also a custom design that is expensive to replace and not worth it due to the poor design. Best bet is to create a custom regulator assembly or custom build a cap. The regulator plastic cap threads are loose, and there are only 4 threads on the metal tube it screws to. Combine that with how the metal pipe has 2 sides threads ground off flattening the sides of the pipe some, plus significant force required to get to 150psi on the regulator output, and the design is a perfect recipe for the threads to be chewed off making the compressor useless because you can no longer get pressure at the air hose fittings. See picture showing the flattened sides of the pipe. After the threads stripped, I did end up breaking the plastic cap and tried to repair it after it had stripped, which you see in the picture along with the stripped off threads. The cap is not sold separately, and they want over $70 for the replacement regulator assembly which is ridiculous. It's cheaper to custom build an entire QUALITY regulator assembly! I'll be releasing a video on this design flaw on Youtube as well as how I fix it. It costs a little more than the replacement Husky regulator, but it works and will last longer than the plastic Husky one.

Fix for pressure regulator only going up to 150psi
Take the red knob off and put a washer or two (I used two) inside the knob (between the spring and the plastic). Goes all the way to 200psi now and still works fine!

Used this to top off my vehicle's tires this morning, no apparent leaks at any of the connectors - worked fine, no issues with the exception when I attached my hose to the compressor fitting, the entire dual gauge/dual connector assembly rotated a bit when I pushed it in. I don't think this can be tightened up, so I may just have to hold the assembly while connecting the hose. I also added a couple of stand-offs to the bottom holes so that when you tip this compressor to roll it, it's just a little bit easier, though not necessary. (Images attached). Another reviewer commented that he received his compressor "loose" w/o a container box, which could just be a specific store location thing. But I agree that when something is new, I also prefer to receive it WITH it's original box, which in my case it WAS included, though the bottom portion was already detached but present. This made it a bit more challenging to load into the back of my truck, but not a big deal. So if your compressor is brought out from the back w/o a box, ask for one WITH the box. In the end, a very nice compressor and I love that it's a vertical type compared to my old horizontal which took up double the floor space. Prior to deciding on this, I had considered the comparable Dewalt model, but figured for $140 less, plus being able to pick up this Husky locally, it made sense to get this one. I would recommend this unit.

This Husky 27 Gal. 200 PSI Oil Free Air Compressor will be replacing my old compressor. The compressor came completely assembled and was very very well packaged. Had Styrofoam placed around the compressor to help secure the unit in the shipping box. This compressor is much larger and more powerful than by current unit. It is super easy to move around and stores in a smaller space. I liked that it had grommets on the legs so it would scratch the cement. Would highly recommend.

Great all-round low maintenance air compressor for home and car maintenance. It is an oil free design that most home owners will use to inflate tires or to run a pneumatic nailer. These are tasks that require intermittent air flow. Husky states that HVLP paint systems and air sanders can be connected but should only be run intermittently. It's a trade-off that I can live with given the lower maintenance and cleaner air that this compressor delivers. I was really impressed by the compressor's initial quality. All the connections were air-tight and the gauges were spot on. The regulator functioned within a pound of it's indicated pressure. It also features over and under quick disconnects so that you can run two hoses at once. Be sure to always bleed off the main tank air. Doing this will drain the tank of moisture that could cause rust and premature failure.

Overall very pleased with this compressor! Delivered to the house and had 200psi in the tank -no leaks woo hoo! Large capacity at 27 gal yet not as bulky as most 30 gal units I’ve looked at. The 200psi top end allows for addl run time. Takes about 8-10mins to fill from empty but once full it won’t need to kick back on for a bit. I use it primarily for air nailer and lasted my entire project. Unit has 2 quick connect outlets but I probs won’t need the 2nd one as I only run 1 tool at a time. This will be great for blowing out my sprinkler system. I’ve borrowed my neighbors 150psi 20 gal unit the last couple years and had to run thru each zone 3x. That was Ok but this one will definitely save some time for that task. Runs fairly quiet too and has decent noise suppression muffler. Definitely prefer vertical to horizontal -space saver!!!
