The Husky 10 oz Heavy-Duty caulk gun is an excellent caulking gun. The no-drip feature works very well by reversing the direction of the plunger when the trigger is released. The trigger can also be adjusted for thicker compounds thereby providing more leverage on the trigger and less stress to the hand. I give this caulk gun 4-1/2 stars. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars is that one of the caulking materials I am using is very thin and runny and the no-drip feature was only partly effective. The no-drip feature and adjustable trigger worked very well with the thicker compounds I am also using.

I obtained this Husky caulk gun so that I could use the large (29 ounce) tubes of concrete sealant. The caulking gun is very easy to use and has everything that you might want in a caulk gun. I was able to empty an entire tube of concrete sealant with minimum effort and was shocked when I realized I had emptied the whole tube. I was unaware the technology for caulking guns had improved so much and this one was just a dream to use. The Husky 29 ounce Heavy Duty High-Leverage Caulk Gun is a must own if you do any caulking with 29 ounce tubes.

This is a professional caulking gun, for big jobs that require large 29 oz. size caulk or sealant. Many projects, and especially DIY projects, use 10.1 oz. caulk or sealant, not 29 oz. For professional jobs, using 29 oz. tubes, this is a great tool. The cushioned handle helps prevent hand fatigue. When you want to use the red Dripless button, you need to press it forward and down, not straight down.

This is the best manual caulk gun I've used compared to others. I comes with an adjustable leverage (aka "high force" and "low force". I left it in dripless mode and seemed to work great. With the high force setting it strains my fingers less than the typical manual caulk gun and helps me apply even pressure. I highly recommend this caulk gun, spend the extra money and get this model instead of the cheaper ones.

This caulk gun is 100 times better than my old one. It has tons of useful features that help the average caulk job go so much easier. The high leverage function is the main one, giving you an extra mechanical advantage to push super thick goop out if needed. The spill prevention releases pressure on the tube a little bit to prevent the caulk from coming out after you're done. It also has a poker that can break the seal of a new caulk tube. The only thing it DOESN'T have is something to cut the tip of the tube off like some other caulk guns I've seen. That said, I usually like a more precise cut to open the tube anyway, so I use box cutters. PROS: - High leverage mode really works. Gives a significant mechanical advantage. - Anti-drip switch relieves pressure from the plunger and prevents drips - Built in poker to break seal of new tubes of caulk - Ergonomic handle CONS: - The high leverage mode takes a little getting used to. I tried it with a caulk that really didn't need high leverage for, and it resulted in me needing to pump the gun a lot more (what you gain in leverage, you lose in distance plunged per trigger pull). Overall, I really like this caulk gun. It seems well built and like it will last a while.

The Husky heavy duty caulking gun is designed to hold standard size 10 oz. tube. It switches between 2 settings, a drip and dripless, for the desired application. The red button requires a lot of force to move from one position to another. There is a raised metal high spot the red plastic button needs to overcome, that is why there is a graphic not to use a hammer to move the position of the red button. You can move the red button with a lot of force as the gun get more use that plastic on metal fiction point will be reduced over time to make the transition easier. It also features an adjustable setting of high force to low force, what that changes is the difference in travel of the rod, it is almost twice as much travel in the low setting the plunger travels twice as compared with it in the high setting. So if you need a lot of caulk to fill a large void, the low setting will be delivering more caulk at twice the rate than the high setting. The force setting is about the required force needed to move more caulk, it will take more force to move the plunger twice as far per stroke of the handle. The varying force ratio also helps control the amount of caulk applied per squeeze of the handle. It has a cushion grip trigger for added comfort and a rounded frame to help with cartridge loading and/or removal. The barrel rotates so instead of rotating the whole gun to reach an awkward spot you just rotate the barrel to the correct position to ensure the 45 degree angle cut at the end of the tube is at its optimal angle.

This Husky caulk gun is great, it is adjustable and the head actually turns so that you can follow the joint without having to twist your arm. The quality of this gun speak volumes when comparing this gun next to an older style gun. With the capability of adjusting the pressure I am able to us it for masonry applications and apply and even coverage. I am glad I have this gun.

It would be more practical if young couples starting out were gifted basic DIY painting supplies like a caulk gun instead of yet another crock pot. That way the could have two "King of Drools" when the first baby arrives. Seriously, what separates just another caulk gun from the superior ones is Drool Control. This Husky Caulk Gun has a couple of unique features that I haven't seen before. The first one is the Red Drip/ Dripless Button at the top which affects the position/throw of the spring actuated Release Lever. Press Down on the Front of the Button for Drool-Free operation when using relatively free flowing/low viscosity acrylic and silicone sealants. Press Down on the Back of the Button for use with thick construction adhesives (or when it is really cold) when you DO want a little pressure on the tube to keep things flowing. Nice touch. The other unique feature is the push forward/upward on the trigger handle for low force dispensing. Pull back/Squeeze the lever for regular high force dispensing.

I typically use the cheap caulk guns, so I was excited to grab this and give it a try. The Husky caulk gun is definitely way more heavy-duty than the cheap ones you might have. You can tell right away this was has a higher build quality and doesn’t feel flimsy at all. Even with that, it doesn’t feel any heavier than some of the other caulk guns I have used. Squeezing gives a nice bit pressure and the flow seems pretty steady and smooth. It has a high and low force adjustment, which can come in really handy when doing certain types of caulking jobs. It even has a button that should help stop any excess flow from coming out. Overall, I’m really happy with this and it definitely replaces any others I have in the garage.

This caulking gun by husky was just the tool I needed when doing some repair work in my garage, I’m having a new garage door installed and wanted to fill in some gaps in my driveway and garage area. I love the drip less function on the gun, the extra support on the trigger was nice to and I felt like I had extra control when the sealant was coming out of the tube, the rotating barrel and all the extras on the gun, such as the seal punch out and nozzle made my project so much more Efficient
