Hey Eddie, It will still be fine. The calibration doesn't have a life expectancy for storage, it is only things such as over-torquing and dropping the wrench that should change it. Thanks!

Answer

Hey XTMTX, The click that is felt and heard comes from the fastener torque exceeding spring tension inside the mechanism causing a block to rotate out of place and hit the inside of the wrench body. At higher torque settings the mechanism is under greater tension so when it is exceeded and clicks there is significantly more force being overcame resulting in a more audible and easily felt click. Thanks!

where do you send or take it to have it recalibrated or checked?

Broke within hours
Tried to use it to break a lug nut free and the head sheered right off. No bar extension necessary, just using my arms. Only owned this thing for a few hours. At least Home Depot let me return it.
