Q:I bought this over a year ago and never bothered using it, till now! I never noticed the set has two 6" bit extensions (arrows) and no 6" wobble extension (3/8). Any help? I saw its a discontinued item.

So far so good. I used this to replace my lawnmower blades, and it did the trick wonderfully. I like the case because it doesn't "grab" onto the sockets; they're easy to grab onto. The sockets are also clearly marked what size they are, which is nice. It seems like they should hold up and stay easy to read over wear and tear of use. The wrench itself is very easy to use and is a decent length to put good torque on bolts without being so long that it can't fit anywhere.

It's been great so far.
I grabbed this tool set for multiple jobs and projects around my house and working on my car. So far so good. I like that they are black. They are not impact rated. They also have a lifetime warranty so you can't beat it for this price.

Sorry, but someone goofed. This set has NO 1/4" socket, at least the one I bought in late 2018. I only found it out during a dishwasher repair. How does that even happen? The case actually skips this socket, and goes from 3/16 to 5/16.

The Husky 3/8 inch Drive 100 Position Universal SAE and Metric Mechanics Tool Set has just about anything a DIY’er all the way to an avid car enthusiasts needs. I won’t go through all of the great features this 60 piece set comes with, but I do want to point out a few notable ones.
100 position low profile, long handle ratchet requires less clearance and can turn faster with less rotation.
Standard and deep Knurl grip universal sockets that can handle a large variety of fasteners.
Laser etched, easy to read ID markings on the sockets.
Various sized phillips, flathead, and star bits can be used with the included bit adapter socket. This is perfect for those hard to reach spaces where using a screwdriver is not possible.
Chamfered lead-ins (which are angled transitional edges) help provide much easier placement of the sockets onto the fasteners.
The only downside of this set is the case. The clips used to secure the case are a little flimsy and have come apart on more than one instance.
With that being said, this set is great and at an extremely affordable price. This is a must have for any workshop.

Grab and go 3/8 drive socket set. It's all in this box organised for you and ready to travel. You get the drive and the metric and SAE sockets in deepwell and regular depth. All the standard sizes up to 3/4 inch and 18 mm. If it's bigger than that you'll need another wrench. There are screwdriver bits, 3 flat tip and 4 Philip's head and range of Torx bits. There is also an adaptor that goes on the drive for using these bits. I used Husky tools for many years at my old job and got good service from them. The ratchet head is stated as being 100 position, I didn't count them. That means 100 clicks in one revolution which is an advantage when operating in limited areas with little room to swing the wrench. They are a flat black color which looks very utilitarian and also gives a benefit of offering a more secure less slippery grip. One irritating thing about this set is that the box slots in the storage and carrying case do not have a detent function. The tools lay in a pocket and closing the cover keeps them in their space. The problem is when you open it upside down,all the tools are now sitting on the top of the case and have to be transferred back to their cutouts one by one. Not a big deal if you're sitting at home or in your shop but could be a real headache if you're working and they should happen to fall if the case is not perfectly flat. And there you are picking each socket up out of the snow. I took a marker and wrote TOP on the top, and DO NOT OPEN on the bottom. Great housewarming gift or a set for new homeowners to purchase. Or maybe you need to buy these to make a living or provide them for your employees. Nice set that should last decades.

This is a awesome 60 piece tool set. It has about every size socket you may need, extensions, size converter and even has a screwdriver attachment and a bunch of bits to go with it. it has deep sockets and shallow sockets and it has metric and SAE. It all seems to be very solid. Pretty much everything you need to get the job done if it requires turning a screw or bolt.

This is a very simple deep socket set. All items are in a plastic tool case with holds the sockets in place nicely. The pop-on and pop-off of the sockets from the driver or extenders is very easy. The set contains the bulk of the socket sizes needed for general automotive work.

The Husky 3/8” Tool Set comes with both 3/8” and 1/4” SAE and Metric sockets and with a heavy duty carrying case. The sockets are knurled to better enable turning them with the fingers and have a splined-design inside to enable use on torx, square, 6 point, 12 point, rounded or splined bolts (see my attached picture). In my use they seem to work as well as the conventional designs. They come in both deep and standard depths and are sized from 5 to 16 mm and 3/16” to 3/4”. Included are a ratchet, two extensions (3” and 6”, both designed to wobble), and two adapters to use with the smaller sockets, and 12 screwdriver bits. The ratchet has a thumb button to easily release the sockets. In my use the ratchet works fine and is extremely smooth and can work within a narrow arc. The finish is black oxide with an easy to read size embedded on each socket.
The set is manufactured in China. The quality seems acceptable and should make a good universal socket set for most uses. I would order them again.
