Q:This ratchet is being shown to have an excellent 4.5 star review. BUT, many of the reviews aren't even for the ratchet, on page one alone I see reviews for sockets, socket rails and even a pressure washer. Why are these reviews being falsely inflated?

Q:Is the box under warranty? The clips on the box broke the 1st week and the sockets are not snug fit into the box. With the broken clips and no snug fit if you breath on the box the sockets fall all over the place.

Very weak metal
This can't handle any torque. They just crack. I've lost two of them this way. And I've only used four all together. So, that's a 50% failure rate so far.

Quality Tools- If Stored Properly by HD
This rating is about the socket set. As far as the way it was stored before purchase, a one star rating would be too high. I bought this set and inspected it. The outside of the storage box looked like it was (along with the others on the shelf) stored in a very dusty basement or storage facility for about a couple of years.
I opened the box expecting to see rusty sockets and a moldy interior, but I was surprised that the sockets were in very good condition. They looked well-made from quality materials, and without obvious defects; that is, until I started looking at them individually.
The second one I picked up had rust on the tip. Thankfully, that was the only one. I plan to keep the set, but have the rusty socket replaced. If you're considering buying this set- pick it up instead of ordering it.

New product with same product number WORSE QUALITY
I ordered several of these online. I liked the ability to swap socket sizes on the rail - you can push the tab on either end and pull socket holders out or add additional holders. This allows you to have a single rail with 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2”.
The box I received had some units in the style I saw in the store (left side on picture with small serial #, yellow) along with a new style (right side with large serial #, red) that DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO SWAP.
Functionality is ruined.

I will start by saying that I am a fan of Home Depot and Husky Ratchets. That being said, I have no idea why they would ever sell this product under the Husky name. Do yourself a favor and look at the image that I have attached. This product has pretty terrible quality control. A good third or more of the bits that I received are crooked straight from the manufacture. The grid paper background has no photo magic, the bit centering just that bad. I did not return the product because I think that it is a decent value for what I paid giving bit selection, keeping in mind that operation with crooked bits may be a little more janky. I will use these as a general tool, rather than a precision tool. I think it is a decent selection of shapes and sizes, but if you are only needing a set of a specific shape and size (such as metric allen keys for bicycle repair) buy a smaller and more expensive set somewhere else. I do not know what I was expecting, but I guess you get what you pay for. In regards to the blow-molded case, it is at least twice the thickness that it needs to be and the curved corners and sides make it harder to store compactly with other stuff. If you hold the case upside down, the bits fall about all over the place. If I decide to keep these in rotation, then I will just buy socket rails for them.

Numerous Options- I like these Husky magnetic swivel socket holders for several reasons. I like that they swivel giving you the opportunity to see the size of the socket in case it's not on the holder straight on. Also, there are plenty of individual socket holders so you can put on all of your most popular sockets, I even had space for accessories. The magnetic backing is strong and easily holds a full load of sockets to a metal surface. You can pluck the sockets off without pulling the entire holder from the metal surface. Should not harm any metal surfaces as the backing is cushioned. The 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch sizes are color coded so it's easy to spot the different sizes from across the room. They seem a bit pricey and I wished that they were sold in a package, maybe that would help reduce the price. Definitely recommend, it will organize your tool box!

Great product for the price
I purchased this set to replace a smaller set that came with my Husky tool set. I had them for roughly 2 years and they were completely rusted out from leaving the tool box in the back of my truck. The chrome part was fine but the heads were completely rusted out. The first thing I did with this set was coated them all with WD40. For the price of this set the quality is really good. It comes with a good case but it fits a little loose and the bits get shuffled out of order.

I am impressed with this ratchet. First off, I had bought a pittburgh 3/8 quick release as my first fine tooth ratchet. The biggest issue with it was the directional switch being too loose and getting stuck in thr middle. The husky tskes care of that oroblem while also being low profile and quick release. Treat it right and it will serve tou many years. Plus with a no questions no reciept required warrenty, how could you complain?

What a lot of sockets! Amazingly a wide variety of sizes and even metric! I couldn’t do the jobs I do without the correct sizes of so it’s! Nowadays it takes a lot of different sizes to get it done! Love this set to get it done! They fit right and do the job! I highly recommend this product for anyone and every job! Don’t be stuck without the right tools!
