This Husky 36 in. 12-Drawer Tool Chest and Cabinet Combo is great for storing and organizing all your tools and hardware. The combo tool chest is made from high grade all welded steel construction and finished with Husky Vintage Red. 12-Drawer tool chest and easily accessible top till provide a total of 21865 cu. in. storage capacity. Drawer are all full-extension and glide effortlessly on ball-bearing slides that can support up to 100 lbs. These slides also have a unique Secure Latch retention system that ensures your drawers are completely closed and secured. 1-drawer of tool chest came with a removable worktable for 13 or 15 laptop or phone while drawer open, and worktable could fit in any drawer of tool chest. Magnetic labels for the tool storage could be seen from outside of drawer. Premium Drawer Liners included to protect your tools and drawers. Power tool rack set up in the bottom drawer of tool cabinet. The reinforced top lid is supported by gas struts which make it easier to open and close. An ergonomic handle and 5 in. x 2 in. casters allow you to easily move your cabinet around your workspace. Total weight capacity of the cabinet is 1,200 lbs. Both the chest and cabinet have an internal keyed locking system, with 2 Husky Y-11 keys provided, for added security.

Purchased the Husky 36 in. tool chest after searching several different brands from Home Depot and two other companies.
Home Depot had a summer special pricing that was timely as I was going to wait until Black Friday for special pricing. The quality of the tool box is excellent from the gauge of metal used to the operation of the drawers and the heavy duty wheels. The different sizes of the drawers is perfect for this unit as I can store medium to large items in the lower drawers. The heavy duty wheels make moving the chest very smooth and easy and the large handle which can be located on either side gives a good balanced grip. There are two lay flat handles on the top chest that made lifting the unit on top of the bottom chest very easy. The hydraulic lifts on the top hood are very good in that opening and closing is very smooth and will not fly up when opening nor slam shut when closing.
The one thing that I would change about this unit would be to include a handle for the top hood storage that has been mentioned on other reviews that I have read. I did find a brushed handle that matched the brush on the drawers that I installed that makes opening the hood easier.
I ordered this chest on line for pick up at my local Home Depot as shipping cost was around 75.00. When I when to pick up the unit which was very easy the associates loaded the two boxes in the bed of my truck. The two boxes were packed very well to prevent damage from shipping. You will need assistance lifting the top chest onto the bottom chest.
After ordering my unit I realized that I had neglected to include my 10% off coupon when checking out.
Besides the handle issue and the coupon issue I am extremely pleased with this chest and would highly recommend. This is a great unit for home or work and will last a l long time.

You must be kidding - I bought it twice and the local Home Depot returned it twice because they didn't have the tool box as shown in inventory!!! It was quite bit a hassle and I ended up empty handed.
