The Husky 6 in. mini Hacksaw is just what id needed. The blade on this saw is easy for me to replace, all i had to do was turn a knob and the blade loosened then tighten the knob again. The black part is plastic & i think the top chrome part is good thick aluminum. What i especially like about this little saw is that the handle where your fingers wrap around feels rubberized for better grip. I have flowering small Crapemyrtle trees on my property so instead of me getting out my 100 foot electric cord & saw i can quickly prune them back really low to the ground with this smaller saw -no fuss. Very useful for tight jobs where you dont want a long saw.

This haxsaw is small and easy to handle. The blades can dull quickly but are cheap replacement at a 5 pack for $5.00, having extra on hand is recommended. The package says cuts metal or wood . but I found it difficult to cut metal, it is fine for small thickness metal but dont expect it to go through pipe. Same for wood, this is good cause its easy to get into tight spaces , great for trim around the house. It has its uses for a small saw.

This saw is the perfect add-on to my saw collection. I can cut PVC, wooden dowels, aluminum rod, without dragging out the large hacksaw. I use a lot of dowels to join wood and this will work great. It is light weight, will get into small spots, etc. where the large one is cumbersum. Larger saws can also flex when cutting and not provide stright , even cuts. Replacement blades are inexpensive which is also a plus.
