Just as advertised, fairly easy installation, depending on your construction of the garage. Was necessary for proper installation in my garage , to keep it away from where I intended it. By placing 2x4 spacers between the rafters for securing. The adjustment for heights is a big plus. I highly recommend this ceiling mounted storage unit. I put in two and now have a more roomy garage.

Dangerous
After two years, a bolt gave out sending our storage boxes (which contained life jackets and holiday decorations well under the recommended weight limit) tumbling down. We are lucky in that no one was standing under it at the time and that the damage to our car was minimal. After this happened, I checked for recall notices and read this comment section to find that more people have issues with the quality of the bolts. Do not use the bolts provided with this product.

Decent shelf - Junk hardware
First off, there are a ton of parts on this thing, and they all look alike. So be careful when separating the parts into piles. Get organized.
Second, just throw away all the hardware and buy new hardware from Home Depot. Most of the lag screws broke even though I was careful to predrill holes and use a manual ratchet to tighten.
Finally, I found the customer service to be acceptable. They sent a new set of hardware. (ground shipping), but it also was junk so I tossed it. Questionable warranty.

Avoid this brand
First off, as many have stated the instructions are horrendous to follow. Pictures shown one thing and the description says another. My package came with extra parts that are not listed on the instructions at all. Call support and got no where. For something hanging over your head, you'd think someone like Husky would care.

Overall good - would recommend
As with other reviews I had a few bolts snap, thankfully they provided extras. I have an older house and finding solid joists that fit the dimensions we tough, I had to go up into the attic and reinforce to make it work. Installation was harder than other overhead ceiling storage I’ve done before, but with that said this is by far the most sturdy and best looking one I’ve done. Once installed it was worth it. Even with all that said I’d recommend it. Solid product.

Great Value
I bought two of these to install over my garage door. The first one took some trial and error as the instructions weren’t the most clear but once we figured it out the second one took almost no time at all. They’ve been installed for a few days now and w haven’t put anything up there to store yet but I will update once we do. We have two lag bolts in each bracket which seem secure enough. I installed at twenty four inches so there’s a little sway since there’s only one support instead of two.

Great once assembled, assembly is a bear)
Im very happy with the quality of the product.
But, man the instructions are awful. The ink on both units manuals was crazily light and hard to read, and the pictures were just short of useless.
Once I got the first one together the second was a breeze, but you really want to look at the product pictures online while you go. And be aware the picture online has the ceiling brackets facing each other, when you want them to actually face the same direction.
But yes, super sturdy, looks nice, no chips or scratches anywhere. I'd 100% recommend but be prepared to scratch your head a bit trying to figure out the assembly. (And the hardware comes in a single large bag, there are about 100 washers, 8 of which are slightly larger for the mounting bolts, good luck finding them)

Sturdy. Well built. Parts fit well. Cheap bolts.
Pros:
- Ability to adjust the size (both W and H) is great, though you'll end up with extra parts if you don't do the full 96"
- Sturdily built; parts all fit together well and holes lined up neatly
- Even a novice could install this
Cons:
- As MANY others mentioned, lag bolts are not of the best quality. I sheared one (installing with an impact driver with a socket fitting), so I had to run to the store to grab a new bolt (I grabbed four, just in case)
- Instructions are not well written

Dangerous! Attach points are ridiculously minimal!
I didn’t even install it. I got the ceiling brackets in place and they had decent sized lag bolts. But they expect you attach the rack arms with a small bolt through the edge of some thin metal. NO WAY am I trusting that to hold anything.
