Remove the sticker from the screen!
For those of you one stars saying the screen never changes, it is because there is a sticker you need to remove!! This works great once you figure out how to properly use it. After zeroing out I put it against my square and then a level… it was dead on 90 and 180!

It's a very good product. Very accurate and easily let's you find and set angles. I used it to build an angled climbing wall for my daughter. I wish it had a better knowledge of the angle it was set to. If you set a angle and leave it for a bit it will auto off to conserve battery. When you turn it back on it remembers whatever the last setting even if the angle has changed even slightly. With how sensitive it is you are guaranteed to be off. Your only option is to move the guage back to its 0 position and re zero the guage. I wish it just inherintly knew the position it was facing and did not need to be constantly re set to zero. For the price it is worth the money.

It simply does not work. The LED number that appears while still packaged did not disappear or change upon opening and adjusting the angle. After insertion of the battery, another number appeared superimposed on the earlier nummber.Adjustment changed both numbers but never appeared to correlate with a recognizable angle. And, it won't turn off! In all fairness, I have not had time to return the tool, or exchange it.

Has design issues
Nice idea, but execution not the best. Not a professional grade tool. Things I don’t like: the zeroing is imprecise as others have indicated due to inconsistent position of blade in handle. Also, the blade tightens upon opening and loosens upon closing which does not help usability. The plastic handle is flimsy with sharp edges/corners. I’ll look for something else.

As long as you set it back to zero the way the instructions tell you it works great. I'm not a professional woodworker or carpenter. I used this to frame a bathroom and the cuts worked.

I use it to check the bevel cuts made with my jigsaw and track saw. I set the saws using the Klein angle meter (bought at Home Depot for $30), make a test cut, then check the cut with this sliding bevel angle finder. Works great.
