Dual Function Shelf Bracket for Garage Slat Wall and Track Systems

These Tote Shelf Brackets are an accessory to compliment the wall mounted rail system made by Husky. This Husky rail system is an ideal solution for organizing the garage, basement or mud room. These Tote brackets are designed to install on the Husky wall tracks enabling the use of a wire shelf on top and a slide in tote along the bottom. The rails are available in 36”, 48” and 84” lengths. The rails are designed to fit along a wall enabling it to screw directly into studs. The rail comes with pre-drilled holes that correspond to stud spacing for easy installation. Other accessories include hooks, standard shelf brackets, vertical brackets a wire shelf and a tote. The Tote brackets along with other accessories can be installed anywhere along the rail in any order and any spacing.

I definitely recommend this Husky shelving/storage system to all who want and/or need a stylish, easy to assemble and extremely functional system to help organize their garage or whatever room you choose to install it in. The instructions are very easy to follow. Minimal tools are required which makes it easy for the novice of DIY-ers to be able to install without having to hire a professional. I’m a big fan of the slots on the shelf brackets where you can hold the 27” black and yellow storage containers by Husky. I would give it more than 5 starts if I could. I will be replacing my current cabinets and shelves with the Husky storage/shelving wall system.

The Slat Wall and Track Dual Function Shelf Brackets can be used with a wall rail or vertical rails. The brackets hang from the wall rail with a top clip. Plastic inserts are used to cover the hooks normally used with vertical rails. In the installation shown, both the wall rail and vertical rails were used. The vertical rails actually hold the shelf brackets with the top clip and two sets of hooks that engage the vertical rails.

My husband wanted to redo his entire tool room when he saw this storage system. The durability is phenomenal. All of the endless accessories and endless ways to use them is absolutely amazing. I think I got more excited when we started by hanging the 84" wall track system. No instructions came with any of the pieces, but I found the installation very self explanatory and quite easy to do. Make sure that you attach each end of the horizontal wall track system into a stud. This system holds hundreds of pounds at a time. A simple wall anchor will not support that much weight. The vertical rail clicks right into the horizontal wall track and is made from the same durable and quality material. Then you simply click in the brackets into the vertical rails. After that you can click the wire shelf onto the the horizontal wall track or you can click the wire shelf onto the brackets that you click into the vertical rail. I used the brackets that support the wire shelf and will also hold a tub w/lid at the same time. I do not have the tubs yet, but am eager to make that addition. Every piece is of a high quality metal material and powder coated.Who knew one could get so excited about storage.

I got these Husky Dual Function shelf brackets as a part of the Husky garage storage system including the 84" metal track, 24" vertical rails, and a 28" wire shelf. This is truly a heavy duty system. The steel is thick and heavy. I got the Dual function brackets so that I could also hang a tote box from the bracket; I noticed after installation that I have to buy the HDX 27 gallon tote, and my other branded tote will not fit. These shelf brackets are compatible with the Husky track, the Husky Wall and Husky Vertical Rails, so you have options, and instructions for each type of installation and all hardware and parts are included in the package. I am very impressed with the quality, the versatility and the ease of installation. Lifetime Warranty!

There are many choices out there for garage wall track systems and I cannot make a comparison to them, however if your looking for a heavy duty system then this may be a great option. This fast track garage stuff is great. It looks clean, it would be easy to install. It's versatile and it's sturdy. These brackets, rails and shelving is powder coated metal, not plastic. I had mine delivered and they came wrapped pretty well and no damage was made to the item. These also come with the hardware unlike some other brands. These brackets are heavy, heavy duty.

Sorry Husky. You missed on this shelf system. The Tote Shelf Bracket is well built and weighs in at 4 pounds per bracket. They support up to 150 lbs. per bracket when properly installed. They hold the HDX 27 Gallon Tote which has a 150# capacity leaving plenty of dispersed weight for the shelf. However, there is no way to securely attach the Vertical Rail (see photos). The Track Adapter does not work with the Vertical Rail on this Bracket. Unless you install wedges above the hang hooks you could accidently dislodge the bracket from the vertical rail by pushing up on the outside while inserting the tote into the slots or bumping the shelf upwards. A plastic snap guard could have been included. I used a small piece of wood to fill the gap. This is not an issue when using the Metal Track as a Track Adapter locks the bracket to the Track. 3 Stars for weight and durability. Poor design.

I'm really liking this Husky storage system a lot. The Husky Dual Function Bracket is easy to install. This Dual Function bracket is made of heavy duty steel construction. The bracket supports Husky wire shelves and has a durable powder coat finish. Two brackets hold up to 300 lbs. Husky Dual Function Bracket has a lifetime warranty. These dual function brackets can hold the steel wire shelf on top and also hold plastic tote from underneath both at the same time. You can also hook these brackets on both the garage Wall Track System and the Track Vertical Rail system. I was able to do both and this adds the versatility I was looking for. This is a really neat feature that will save you space, which was a very important feature for me, and makes this system all that much better. These brackets just clip right on the track system at the top and have a locking tab at the bottom to secure it on the track. This does come with the hardware and mounting screws that you will need.I would recommend to others as this is a great storage system.

The NEW HuskyWall storage & organization product line is extremely robust and very high quality. This product is much more heavy duty than the Rubbermaid product line. This specific system has a tote bracket that allows you to mount a wire shelf on top and allows the HDX 27 gallon tote to slide in directly below the wire shelf - resulting in the most efficient use of bulk wall storage space in the market. No other product comes close. The brackets mount directly on to the vertical rails which allows you to cover as much space as you want to optimize your storage needs. I discovered that these brackets can be mounted directly on the Husky horizontal track OR they can be mounted directly on to the new Husky PVC slatwall by removing the plastic back. Some other reviews have said this system is expensive but I found that when I took all of the components needed to completely bulk out my garage wall and factored in the efficiency of space utilized this system is actually cheaper and much sturdier. They also provide you with all of the hardware you need so you don't get home finding out that you don't have the right fasteners needed to complete the job - another flaw of the Rubbermaid product in addition to the fact that almost none of the hooks or accessories that go with their track system can be mounted on their PVC slatwall. Rubbermaid has many serious design flaws.This modular compatibility is amazing and no other system has been so well thought out and engineered. The folks at Husky have totally nailed it.
