A: David, The caddy for this set is made of plastic with a TPR overmold for better grip and comfort.
A: Just pull the size out that you need and twist. If your crib is like our cribs, you may be better off with a set of wrenches where the actual wrench comes out--the L-shaped wrench. Our cribs would be too tight to get this wrench on the bolts on the side panels. If you can, bring the hex bolt with you--it may be SAE, it may be metric. This particular hex set is SAE, which is standard US stuff.
A: If the crib assembly requires a hex head wrench, this tool will help.
A: I am a bit concerned that you are asking this question. If, you are buying the crib new, they often come with the tools to put it together or at least a list of tools you will need. There are several different tool types. Most common are SAE standard (American) and METRIC (most commonly used in all but the USA and often recently used in the USA as well). Items like a crib which iss probably sold worldwide will likely be metric or a size where the metric and SAE tools will be close enough so that either will fit.
A: The squared end fits into a screw like bolt on the crib. Turn it like a screw driver to tighten etc...
