The Husky Hook and Pick Set (7-Piece) is a durable and tough set of hook and pic tools. Great ergonomic handles, strong shaft pic tools and a variety of sizes to fit most any applications. Polished allot steel tips and shafts are very strong, yet sharp where needed. The small sizes always come in handy, however the surprise is how often I use the three large pic sets. With a no questions asked, no receipt needed lifetime warranty, these are a great tool valve!

This review is for the Husky Hook and Pick Set (7-Piece). This is a very handy pick and hook set to have in your toolbox. While it probably won’t see everyday use there are those instances where you need to fish out a gasket, washer or spring from a hole where an ordinary screwdriver just won’t work. Another instance is where you have a piece of equipment that you need to replace a worn O-ring these hooks work just great to get it out of the hole. I like the grip and feel of the handles. The large handles are approximately 1.5 inches in width and the smaller handles are approximately 3/4 inches in width. The blades are full polish alloy steel that prevents rust and corrosion so they should last a long time and the grips are oil and solvent resistant. A real nice set for anyone’s toolbox. The set also comes with the HUSKY TOOL lifetime warranty.

Excellent set of different size picks. I used one to clean a spark plug and another to remove an oil seal. Very sturdy with a nice handle to grip while using them. Replacing o-rings is a breeze with this set. The tips make getting under the rings and seals easy. The bigger ones work great at removing hotter pins or getting radiator hoses off to replace them. Best set I have ever seen.

I have found this hook and pick set to be durable and extremely useful for automotive work when I need release the lock on wiring connectors or to pull retaining clips when working in tight spaces. These are also great for removing o-rings and seals or to release/reattach small springs without damage, unlike needle nose pliers can cause. Each tool handle is a comfortable fit in my hand but does tend to be slippery if contaminated with fluids or grease. Since this pick and hook set didn't come with a storage pouch, I used scrap pieces of vacuum hose to cover the sharpened tips to prevent accidental pricks when rummaging around in my tool bag.

This is anther high quality tool set by Husky! The hook and pick set is great. I used it the same day I got it to get a hard to get to cotter pin that had broke. The straight pick and a hooked pick did the trick! The set has 2 straight picks both of different size and 5 different size curved picks. This kit will most likely solve any uses you have for a pick! They are very strong and high quality. I highly recommend this set.

This is a very complete set of hooks and picks. The small units are good for fishing hard to reach things like springs and washers out of holes. I am using the big picks to align holes while doing maintenance work on my tractor. There are a lot of times that two holes don't quite line up. By putting a tapered pick in one hole, fishing for the other hole and then prying the two holes into alignment you can get a bolt started. The large Husky picks are great for this since they have nice big handles that you can really get a grip on.

The (7-Piece) Husky Hook and Pick Set is a great addition to your tool set. It can be used for many things. I use it to clean out old rusty and dirty screw as well as to dirt and greasy crevice's in the engines of my vehicles. I also use them to loosen dirt or spread roots in my indoor plants. You can also scratch intials into important tools. I find mine to be a big help.

This is a handy kit to have when replacing o-rings or cotter pins.  There are seven different tools including a mini hook, a mini full hook, a 90 degree mini hook, a straight mini hook, a mini offset hook, a cotter pin puller, a hose puller pick and an awl. The blades are full polish alloy steel that prevents rust and corrosion so they should last and the grips are oil and solvent resistant.  There is a lifetime warranty for free replacement if your tool fails.

This is a handy pick and hook set to have. I had a project in our bathroom to pick out old shower grout and then replace it with newer grout. I was able to pick out the old pieces with ease. Then I put as much grout in as I could and let it set and scraped off the excess when dry. It worked like a charm. I especially like the handle the way it is formed where you can grip it like a rod, or use it where you can place pressure on it with your thumb for very intricate work. I can foresee using the hook set on projects too. For instance, when working with lawn and garden tools where you need to get replace an o-ring, washers, gaskets or something similar. These tools are pretty good size in hand. The grips are like large screwdrivers. The large handles are 1.5" inches in width. The small ones are 3/4" in width. The length varies from 6-9" in length. These are not the kind of tools you will use daily, so for me as a home user, I anticipate these lasting a long time.

I recently broke the tip off my only right angle dental tool pointy hook thingy and ordered the 7 piece Husky Hook and Pick Set For the next time a hook tool. I didn't use it very often but when the need was there it was pretty much the only thing that would work (replacing o-rings or retrieving an errant item that was stuck in a tight barely accessible spot). As usual I neglected to fully investigate the product description (I ordered this online) and was surprised at the larger scale/size of the items in the set when it arrived. Each of the tools in the set are well made and should last forever. The set is comprised of both medium and large sized tools however I am a little disappointed it does not contain a couple of smaller scale longer shaft hook tools. In my opinion the two 'ice picks' (punches?) are unnecessary and should have replaced with the afore-mentioned smaller size hooks for more delicate work. But that's just me and my needs based my experience. I won't be returning this set but I will be looking for one or two more smaller scale hook tools due to the size of these guys.
