I have shot a couple of hundred nails through the nailer so far, and am happy with performance. It drives 3 1/2 nails and 2 inch nails well. The depth setting on the nailer is easy to adjust. The nailer is lighter than I expected, and is easy to place the nail properly without getting my arm too tired. Very satisfied with the nailer.

I haven't had it long, so don't know about longevity. But for the new wall we built to enclose the garage, it worked great! I have never used a nail gun before, but this one was easy to pick up and just use. After a couple practice fires, I was ready to go. I put a few hundred nails through it and had no issues with both 3 1/4 inch nails, and with 2 inch nails, they all worked perfect.

I'm relatively new to using pneumatic tools like this Husky framing nailer. I'm glad I found this one for my DIY projects. It was on sale and I had a $5 coupon, so this was significantly less than similar nailers. I used the 50 sample 3" nails to test the nailer prior to using it for an actual project. So far I've used it to fix several loose slats on my stockade fence using 2" galvanized nails and 3" nails to work on a project with several 2x4s. No jams - no problems. It's powerful, accurate and makes nailing work quick. The nailer is easy to adjust, use and worked as expected. I had my Husky 30 gallon compressor set at 100 psi, and it rarely cycled on during use of the nailer. It's well balanced, feels rugged, and is comfortable to use. However, it's a bit larger and heavier than expected, but that's the nature of this type of nailer - not a flaw. So far I'm very pleased with the nailer and will be using it extensively for several construction projects this spring. The price was right, and this might become one of my favorite tools. Sure beats using a hammer. Recommended.

Needed a gun to frame some walls and soffits in the basement and didn't want to spend $300. This thing is a beast. Gone through a few hundred nails without a jam. Not too heavy, comfortable rubber grip, nails are easy to load, depth adjustment is simple and tool free. Had a blast this weekend. Can't wait to get down there and use it again.

Do not be fooled, this framing nailer is not cheap! Lighter than the others and just as powerful if not more. I have sent over 2000 3 inch nails since opening the box and it has made a huge difference in my project. It needs a rafter hook but that is the only down fall. Dial your depth to countersink or stay flush, flip the trigger switch for pew or pew pew pew, all you need to do is hold on, this gun has some power! I would buy another in a minute and would tell you to do the same!

        Great Nailer
This framing nailer is a great low-cost option, with a price comparable to some other manufacturers' reconditioned models. I haven't torture tested it or anything, but it's worked fine for me without any feed issues or jams so far. I wanted a full head option since I find them easier to remove than a clipped head nail. The loading mechanism for the 21° nails is really intuitive. It uses a bypass mechanism that allows the nails to slide right in and locks them in place. No opening up the whole magazine and worrying about seating the nails properly. The depth adjustment was set perfectly for pine, and drove 3" nails perfectly flush into two 2x4s right out of the box at 90 psi. The depth adjustment wheel is easy to use as well. Its air usage is pretty high at 7 SCFM @ 80 psi, but that's for a ridiculous 100 nails a minute, which I'm pretty sure I can't manage. For how I'll be using it, I'll be fine with my 20 gallon Husky compressor which is rated at 4 SCFM @ 90 psi. The nailer is well balanced and not too heavy. I didn't experience any fatigue while using it, but I haven't exactly gone a full day framing a building with it either. There's a single nail firing mode or a selectable sequential firing mode that lets the user hold the trigger down and contact fire when the safety head is depressed. I expect this Husky will hold up well enough for whatever a weekend warrior can throw at it, and it comes with a 2 year warranty. The nail gun also comes with a small dropper of oil and all the allen wrench sizes needed for tool maintenance. I was a little surprised at the number of different allen sizes needed - there were 4 or 5 of them. The exhaust direction is adjustable, but a hex key is needed for the adjustment, which was a minor annoyance.
