A: You tap it gently into the seat and then turn it counter clockwise to unscrew the seat

A: Once you remove the stem assembly to replace a bad seal, the seat is underneath. Just insert the proper seat wrench into the center of the seat and unscrew it.

A: Faucets with removable seats come in different sizes and shapes.The removable seat has a square hole thru the middle of the seat that will fit one of the different size square ends of the seat wrench. By inserting the square end of the the wrench into the seats square hole, it enables you to unscrew the seat from the faucet and remove it for replacement.

I have used other Husky tools and was very pleased with there quality. These faucet seat wrenches are no exception. There are two wrenches in the set and they cover just about any type of faucet seat you can imagine. They are well made and compact in size yet they are large enough to give you plenty of leverage for removing old seats. Both tools are chrome plated to resist rust and easily fit into your tool bag. Very handy.

Very handy tools to have on hand for the DIY ers as well as pros. Some times replacing the hot or cold water stem is not enough. Every so often it requires removing the seat and replacing it as well. These 2 tools will make it a lot easier to do should need be. Made from approx. 7/16" steel each tool is bent a 90° angle. One tool has a tapered square and the opposite end has a tapered hex. The second tool on one end has 3 different size squares and the opposite end has 3 different size hexes. Between these 2 wrenches you should have what you need to remove and replace the faucets seat.
