Questions & Answers

how do i flip the head

I cannot figure out how to flip the head. I haven't even been drinking yet.
Asked by: pcsjason
Just bought one and had the same question, as it didn't easily swivel. It takes some elbow grease to move it, but it is meant to swivel. .

will this work to remove the shower/bath stem?

will this work to remove the shower/bath stem?
Asked by: novice
I'm not sure I understand the "stem", it does need a square or hex nut shape to lock on, up to 1 in adjustable wrench opening, and it requires clearance of 1-1/2 in at least over 60-90 degrees for a meaningful rotation..

15 in maximum, the T-bar is 14-1/2 in center to center to the jaw if cocked 90 degrees.

For older kitchen sinks with Moen faucets this is not a useful tool. In fact it flat doesn't work; especially if their is a "horseshoe" bracket or older rusted plastic hardware or small nuts . I have tired this tool on several "older" kitchen sinks and it just doesn't work. You are better off with channel lock pliers or long, extended needle nose pliers. I am being honest thatfor many this may not be the tool for the job

The flip articulation is stiff, so you can set it at a fixed 90 degrees and it won't move, while the spring loaded hook goes on the nut you are torquing. The only caveat is that it does not re-position automatically, so if you have a lot of unscrewing, it takes a while in an awkward position.
