A:  This fan is designed for indoor gardening applications. You may need a fan with better coating for fumes & heat if used in kitchen application.

    A:  I would NOT use in a kitchen environment unless you have professional hood filters catching all the grease. I would NOT advise using the blower in any form other than moving air. Exposure to grease, moisture, heavy smoke, dirt, dust, trash, hair, insects or ANYTHING that would compromise the internal ELECTRICAL components.

      A:  Motor is not completely sealed. This fan is made for indoor garden application. You may wan to consider a more industrial fan that can withstand hot steam.

        A:  It has a dial. I don’t k ow what the minimum is but there’s not a big noticeable difference.

          A:  The fan speed is predetermined with the controller setting low, medium, high. You can set it at which ever setting you would like.

                  It's a good affordable blower with variable speed controll. Unfortunately the mounting bracket is too short! You can't hardly get a screwdriver around the blower body to screw it to the wall or ceiling. Mounting bracket needs to be longer. The other bummer is having to order the blower as it should be available IN THE STORE!

                  The fan works well but it is way too loud even with the fan controller. They should modify to actually make it spin slower to reduce noise. There is barely any audible difference with it on the lowest setting, might as well not include it.
