The IDEAL family of Feed-Thru products has expanded to include a new shielded modular plug connector. This single piece 8P8C RJ-45 connector is designed to work with cable conductors ranging from 22 to 24 AWG solid with an overall insulated diameter of 0.040 in. Dia - 0.048 in. per conductor, typically found in shielded CAT6A/6/5e cables. The single piece Feed-Thru design simplifies the challenges faced when assembling and terminating twisted pair cables with larger diameter conductors, over 0.041 in., when use of a standard in-line connector is not an option.

Will a normal cat 6 crimper work with this
Probably not. A normal crimper won't trim the wires that feedthrough. You can usually use a feedthrough crimper on a non-feedthrough plug, but not the other way around.
