I have a 6" X 6" X 8' pressure treated round post pole. The width is 5.63 inch and height 5.63 inch. I would like to know if this round pole would slide into this ABS riser tube. Any feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have a pop up riser for my downspout drainage system and need to extend it 4 inches to grade level. Will this work?
Hello and thanks for your inquiry. This riser is 6” diameter while pop-up emitters are generally sized to connect with a 3 or 4 in. fitting such as an elbow. To extend the emitter, you could use a small piece of 3” or 4” (whichever size your current pipe it) PVC SDR35 pipe and a coupling to terminate in a coupling fitting to which the pop-up is then attached.

This pipe is NSF-14 (food grade) and is safe for use in hydroponic systems.
Is this safe to put at the bottom of a koi pond as a fish cave?
In honest truth I see why not. I did it to mines and placed several large stones on top to create a cave for my koi fishes. It's been a great habitat and added protection when the sun is shiny on the pond. It's been like 5 years and see no visual problems
