BOISE CASCADE IRVING 1 IN. X 6 IN. X 8 FT. NATURAL BARN WOOD PINE BOARDS (6- PIECES/BOX) Don’t waste your time or money on this product. “Barn wood” in this product just means crap wood. It’s dirty, it’s “furry” or maybe “fuzzy” is the word I’m looking for. Maybe I’m wrong but I thought “barn wood” and “rough cut” were synonymous but not in this product. I need to plane it and rework it to make it work for the countertop I was planning on using this for. Save yourself time and money if you are looking for the rustic look and DIY it or purchase actual barn wood.

We are putting the Boise Cascade Irving Natural Barn Wood Pine Boards in our bathroom for paneling. The boards would be great for a multitude of projects.This wood is not finished so we will have to sand and stain them first to get the look we want but I do think once they are finished they will make a great accent for paneling in our bathroom. They seem sturdy and I like the rustic look.

I like the Boise Cascade Irving rough cut natural barn wood pine boards and find them to be milled well and dry, with very minimal warpage. The edges are milled vey straight and can be stacked together for a feature wall, barn door, or door/window trim. One side of the board is natural grain and is very attractive with grain and knots showing beautifully. It will take a stain, paint or whitewash very well. It's a great consistent natural board and I'm pleased with it's quality.

The BOISE CASCADE IRVING 1 IN. X 6 IN. X 8 FT. NATURAL BARN WOOD PINE BOARDS (6-PIECES/BOX) perfect if your looking for pallet wood that is not already in the shape of a pallet. It’s a very rough and knotty material that does not have a smooth face side. I wouldn’t consider it a good product for finished material unless you have the tools to surface it and would still have a lot of waste. The material I received would be better off used as a very rustic project or form boards.

The boards comes with no tongue and groove or shiplap. The edges are not planed straight. They are rough sawn on three sides. The 4th side has a beaded look to it. There are plenty of knots in the boards. There was no twists or bows in the wood. They are solid wood with a nice grain to them. This product would be great for around a fireplace chimney or accent wall. Get all three sizes and mix them together would make a nice look too.

Most of the wood planks were in great condition, but some were not oresentable and I had to get creative in how I used them. I expected a better quality. Once stained howevsr they looked lretty good.
