Is this a compatible replacement for the Whirlpool WHER25 Reverse Osmosis Tank? It's a little larger and holds more water so that's why I ask.
Asked by: Missy
I really don't know if it is compatible with your Whirlpool. I have a GE Reverse Osmosis. The tank I bought at Home Depot was exactly the same as the one that stopped working. It was easy to replace and has and is working fine. The only other thing I can say is that I have used Whirlpool replacement filters on my reverse osmosis and they fit fine but I don't know if the tank they have will fit yours.

Hi, It's June 11 so I hope you have your problem worked out. If your tank is new it should have come charged to 7 PSI. You probably don't want to go over that or under 5 PSI. One thing I learned about the filter/tank changing process is that it's easy to get an air lock. My pump is mounted with a clip. No screws or bolts. Pull the pump out of the clip and turn it so the connections on the side that flow to the tank are up. Let it run that way for a couple hours. It will remove any air out of the pump and really make a difference.
