Is the 3 year life based on time or gallons/utilization? Considering a system like this for a 2nd home that gets used about 6 months a year. Based on that occupancy, would the filter life double to 6 years?

What other parts do I need to purchase so the manganese removal filter works whole house?
Hi Terri, This is a whole house system for removal of Iron and Manganese. This system requires pre-filtration such as a sediment and carbon filter before the system, and the well water should be bacteria free as well. For AIO filters the water PH must generally be above 7 to work correctly. Additionally, AIO filters naturally raise water PH levels. None of these details are included in your marketing materials. Why has this information been omitted?

The description says the filter life is 3 years but answers to questions indicate that the unit filter 10 years. What is the real answer? Is a filter change needed every 3 years and the unit totally replaced in 10 years?

Can the system be plumbed outside

What system do I need. We have Iron & bacteria from our well water. We would like one system not a bunch of systems.

What size fittings are the inlet and outlet ports?
