It includes one Hydro fit quick-connect Tee-fitting, one Hydro fit quick-connect Shut-off ball valve, and 25 ft. of Hydro fit food-grade poly tubing. The ball valve can be used to shut off the flow of water to the alternative source when not required.
1/4 in. Quick Connect Check Valve for Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System
This 1/4 in. Quick Connect Check Valve isolates the membrane from back pressure from the storage tank and provides a solid wall for the shutoff valve to push against. Without a properly working check valve, the RO system will not shut off properly when the tank is full. A great deal of water will be wasted and eventually the membrane will be ruined. The check valve is compatible with APEC under-sink reverse osmosis systems.

Flow Restrictor with Flow Limit 1500
Flow restriction is required for all reverse osmosis systems at the drain line to keep an optimal waste water flow, and is recommended to be replaced each time the membrane is being replaced, in order to maximize the system efficiency. The restrictor must be sized according to the capacity of the membrane. AFR1500 is designed for ro systems with 200 - 400 gpd.
