As America's favorite brand of reverse osmosis systems and backed by ISPRING’s industry-leading customer support, the RCC7P-AK is unequaled in quality, performance and durability. The system consists of 6-stage, layered filtration built around precision reverse osmosis (RO) technology that removes over 1000+ different kinds of contaminants in order to provide the best home drinking water filtration available. It features a 75 Gal. per-day capacity RO membrane, which is larger than most in its class and provides the capacity to economically handle the drinking water needs of even a large family. The RCC7P-AK model of the ISPRING RCC7 line of products is equipped with a booster pump for situations where inlet/house water pressure is low – below about 40 psi. After flowing through the initial 5 stages of the ISPRING RCC7 line of Reverse Osmosis filtering products, the RCC7P-AK model also adds another Alkaline Remineralization (AK) stage. This stage is designed to restore the natural alkalinity and mineral balance of the water. The RO process effectively generates pure water but it also removes a few helpful minerals in the process. The red mineral stone portion of the AK filter adds back healthy minerals including not just calcium, but also other beneficial minerals, like magnesium, that other systems don't. The calcite portion of the filter neutralizes the pH of the RO water. And the water tastes better too.
  • Reverse osmosis requires high water pressure to force the impurities out of the water. RCC7P-AK’s extremely durable electric booster pump ensures high efficiency, reliable and consistent performance regardless of pressure variations; delivering the highest performance for an RO system with less wastewater
  • High capacity reverse osmosis water filtration for safer, healthier water. This under sink mounted water filter and water softener removes up to 99% of over 1, 000 contaminants, including lead (removes up to 98% of lead), chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium and more
  • The RO membrane removes not only harmful pollutants but also a few helpful minerals. As a result, a standard 5 stage RO system produces slightly acidic water with a pH of 7. 0 or below; the ISPRING RCC7P-AK includes an additional sixth stage - an Alkaline Remineralization filter that restores healthy minerals and produces a balanced alkalinity, which gives the water a more natural taste than regular 5 stage RO water
  • Premium quality components ensure the highest reliability and low maintenance for many years to come. Clear see-through 1st stage housing makes filter inspection a snap

Questions & Answers

Does it have tds controller to set up the level of water?

Asked by GG March 31, 2021

Hi GG, This system does not have a built in TDS meter. You would need to purchase a separate TDS2 or TDS3 meter to check the TDS of the Tap water and the RO system. Thank you, iSpring Water Systems LLC

does this include the ultimate softner?

Asked by mina March 12, 2021

No, this doesn’t have softener as most reverse osmosis don’t, but it will filter metals, impurities and bacterias if you have UV unit attached for your drinking water. It shall replenish the good metals you want in your water!

Asked by ImranTahir January 31, 2021

Yes, I add a UV Filter to this ISPRING Maximum Performance Under Sink Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System with Booster Pump and Alkaline Filter. How much and where I can order?

Asked by MB May 10, 2020

Most likely. The Website gives the filtration rates and efficiencies for most metals, bacteria, viruses and chemicals. I'm sure arsenic is listed, i just didn't have arsenic in my water, so didn't bother to pay attention. It's possible you might have to service more frequently, but my service is mainly based on usage, the more water i filter, the more often service is needed. The blue 1st stage filter is translucent, you can see when you need to service.

Asked by pfwag March 13, 2020

All of these iSpring models are pretty efficient, check the website, but average about 50%. If your water has large amounts of particulates (ions) in solution, the efficiency will be a little less. Because you will have to flush out all that "stuff" leaving only the pure water at the RO tap.

What are the dimensions to the tank?

Asked by Humbert123 March 9, 2020

I searched the literature on the web site and got no information on the physical dimensions of the tank. However... The literature describes the 75 GPD unit as requiring 1 to 2 hours to fill the tank. As 75 GPD ~ 3 GPH (gallons/hour) it seems fair to estimate the volume of the tank as somewhere in the vicinity of 4.5 - 5 gallons. If true I would expect the diameter of the tank to be approximately the same as the diameter of a 5 gallon pail (estimate: ~ 12 inches) If you are concerned more about height then I would estimate the tank as occupying about 16 inches (with the round ends at top and bottom). For planning purposes you should probably allow 18 - 20 inches to accommodate the tubing and fittings. Note: The unit probably should not be mounted horizontally as the drain line will not then work. If the above estimates are too general for you perhaps you could measure a standard propane bottle as used in outdoor grills. The diameter appears similar to me, though the height may be different. Look at the picture of the tank carefully to perform your own estimate of height. Hope this helps...

does it need to be plug-in in an outlet

Asked by hi February 21, 2020

Well, if you want to use the booster pump, then YES. However a permeate pump is better. No electricity, puts more water into tank and no need for a auto-shutoff valve. Better off to build your own. Easy to do.

Asked by UGA81 January 17, 2020

TDS or "Total Dissolved Solids" is precisely what any RO system is engineered to accomplish. You are removing salts, or ions, (2 ways of saying the same thing) and these are TDS.

does this system have an independent lab certifications like NSF?

Yes, but don't remember who, bought two years ago.

Asked by certif December 1, 2019

About 50% waste with pump booster system. "Efficient", by your definition, is a bad measure, as a "more efficient" system, would waste less water, BUT wouldn't filter out (and importantly, flush away) waste. Under current commercial systems, if you aren't having about 50% waste, you aren't flushing out the impurities.

Easy to install quality product
Water filter was easy to install. I have had the water filter for over a year and no leaks or issues so far. The replacement filter are easy to exchange out as well. Water filter does take up a little more room than my previous filter due to the alkaline filter on top. Most importantly water taste great!

iSpring system has been an amazing system and recommend highly
Such a huge difference with drinking pure water from this system. Aside from the smooth texture and taste, an additional benefit of having the iSpring Reverse Osmosis system is for our Shrimp/ Fish tank hobby that requires the highest quality water with optimal PH and Low Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). TDS from City water reads about 270 ppm+. From our iSpring system, it's less than 20 to 35 ppm! Yes, RO water removes negligible amounts of calcium from the water but also removes harmful nitrates and bacteria which are toxic. There are Pet stores actually sell their purified water for about $.50 cents a gallon, so we have saved literally hundreds of dollars by having our own system that supplies our family and pets the highest quality amazing tasting water you can find. You'd spend a lot more on bottled water that still has been found to contain other ingredients like : magnesium sulfate, potassium chloride, arsenic, Potassium chloride, cadmium, nitrate, lead and salt. By the way... Magnesium sulfate AKA Epsom Salts or Bath Salts is for bathing in, not drinking. Personal phone support from Nick and Dan are second to none. They have always been there to help make sure my system is optimized. I must have done several days of water purification research before choosing iSpring and years later have been more and more impressed with their products and support. Go for it, from every angle, you'd be hard pressed to find anything better!

I live in Orange CA, and even though the city reports say they water is healthy for drinking, it tastes terrible. I also just don't trust these reports very well these days. After having a faucet mounted PUR filter for years, I got sick of trying to locate and find a good price for the expensive filters. They wouldn't last long and the water didn't taste much different than the tap water anyways. I picked up a TDS and PH meter set online and did some testing to find that the source tap water here is 305 PPM and 7.77 PH. Knowing I needed something good, I finally decided on this system and have nothing but positive things to say about it. I also got the ice cube maker line kit which was well worth the extra few minutes of install time. The instructions for this system seemed complicated at first, but it was extremely easy to install. I live in an apartment and was lucky enough to already have a hole in the counter top for the faucet, but if I didn't, you can bet I would have built a nice wooden box for it. Because I am not supposed to do any modifications to the apartment, I bought an extra pipe for under the sink, and I also ran a low profile extension cord to the system from the top of the counter since the outlet under the sink is on a switch for the garbage disposal. The cord itself was routed by cutting off the outlet, and simply attaching a new one after it was pushed through the crevices under the counter top. The system itself is mounted on a homemade board with brackets that I can easily slide out from under the sink for service. When I relocate, this system is coming with me and the landlord will never know it was ever here. As far as system performance goes, my ice cubes are clear as day and no longer leave debris in my cups. Some reviewers mentioned they can hear the pump, but it is so silent that I do not hear it at all unless I open the cabinet and get next to it it. The water tastes absolutely amazing, and the PH is in the mid 10's with a PPM of 39. After talking with customer service about the numbers, it was indicated that the alkaline filter was probably dissolving a tad too much and PH should be lower. I spoke with Richard through email, and he was extremely polite, helpful, and fast to respond. He sent a new alkaline filter which arrived very quickly and made the system produce a PH of 9.25. PPM restarted at 27 and continues to rise indicating the alkaline filter is actually doing its job and adding the good minerals back into the water. I am stoked at how awesome the system performs, and the customer service of this company is top notch! Kudos to Richard!

I installed the iSpring RO system as a replacement for another brand. I had issues with the pH of the filtered water being higher than the source water and Nick in customer support was tenacious in tackling the problem and finding the solution. I am very happy with the system quality and know that iSpring stands behind their product with stellar support.

The first day of use, water came out cloudy but cleared out on the second day and has been clear ever since; water tastes great with the added minerals. It took my husband about 2 hrs to install it; it's the first filter he ever installs so it wasn't that bad at all, he just followed the instructions.

Super System Best I Have Seen
Purchased this in January and extremely happy with this system. Also extremely happy with Customer Service. Would certainly purchase again. My son installed with ease and helps me not to have to purchase bottled water any longer.

why I spring is king
We moved to our new home in 2019 and had all kinds of water problems. The previous owners had a water purifier installed but it was not getting the job done. I started to research different systems and found that they vary greatly in quality and price. There are a couple of features on this system that I especially liked. First it comes with a booster pump which greatly increases the flow of the water. It also has a built in leak detector valve which stops the flow of water if it detects a leak thereby saving your home from water damage. I had to contact their customer support team and spoke with Robert (Very helpful fella) . their attention and promptness is wonderful. I purchased my unit through The Home Depot site and found that for a unit of this size and features they offered the best prices and the quality of the unit speaks for itself. Do not be intimidated with all the different cartridges it comes with the most simple and easiest instructions ever 15 to 20 minutes to hook up , it has everything you need in the box. Going forward you can purchase replacement filters as a kit without breaking the bank. So to me the big attraction of this unit was Features , Ease of installation and low cost of maintenance going forward . Don't pay though the nose for a comparable system that does not deliver the features of this one without breaking the bank. This system will give you good clean efficient drinking water for your family at an affordable price. My hat is off to I Spring and Home Depot for not gouging on the prices.

I have saved a small amount of money and most not have to run to the market to buy water. I was very happy. The water filtered by iSpring has a sweet taste, better than pre-bottled water like Aquafina (Pepsico), Pure Life (Nestle), K Purified Water (Circle-K) that I have bought many years ago. I do not want to advertise for the iSpring Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System, but I feel such good things as above, so I want to share with those who have faith in pre-packaged drinking water bottles. Let's rethink; convenient, save money, and tastier and sweeter water. The weak point of the Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System with Booster Pump and Alkaline Filter that I bought is that the running water is too slow, even though the system already has the "Booster Pump". The strength is that you try to install it by yourself, but you must read the instructions carefully and go to Youtube to find some of the instructions sharing by the previous customers. You will install it EZ! I do not want to install under sink, rather an external one for monitoring. I like it!
