Using softened water on this system will actually improve your results. So along with removing the salt taste your filters will last longer and filter other contaminants more effectively.

The short answer is Yes, all of our reverse osmosis systems will remove the added salt from a water softener. For additional information on the limits of the system's ability to remove salt you may contact use directly.

Hi JohnS, This system does not include a pressure tank, but you can add one to the system if you would like to. The tank will store water on demand, and will also provide pressure to the drinking faucet instead of letting the pressure build through the system before the water flows at the faucet.
