Bought this pet door about 3 weeks ago. It was easy to install, however our patio door is exactly 77.6 tall with a lip so initially the pet door did not fit. I call customer service and they recommended cutting 1 inch off the top with a hack saw. My Husband sawed off a 1/2 inch and it fit just fine. Years ago we bought a pet door which required us to drill holes in our slider to install. I like this model better as it does not require that, although it does shift slightly at the top.
Our dog likes it and it did not take her long to learn how to use it. The door is a perfect size for her, she is a little over 10 lbs.

I am extremely happy with the high quality of the pet door. It is very strong and sturdy. Put together very well with no gaps or cracks between the slider and the pet door. The cat loves it! We have a pet door from our screened porch to the outside. Now that the air conditioning is on, we had to keep the slider to the porch closed. The cat was not happy. With this door in our slider, she can go in and out to her heart's content. It fits perfectly. Because we take the new pet door out at night, we did not install the door permanently, so I cannot speak about installation. I just opened the box and put it the slider in. Done. I wish I had bought one years ago.

I really love our Pet Patio Door. We have had it for a few weeks and It allows me freedom because I was constantly opening and closing our heavy patio door for our dog. It was very easy to install and took about 20 minutes. One of our concerns was energy efficiency but it came with the rubber inserts so that the patio door fits up snugly to the insert. It looks great!

This works well for my apartment, as I obviously don't want to do anything permanent that might damage the place I'm renting. The weather proofing strip is a joke, I had to get some better strip and MacGyver it on there. Overall, I'd buy it again. My kitty loves it. I also had to kitty proof my third floor balcony, which turned out well. Pics attached!

Great looking and very easy to install
I installed this for a customer and it was installed in a side panel door along side a french door combo and this doggy door worked perfectly for the customer and it allowed for a 2nd means of security because the side panel door can be closed and the home is still secure without having to remove the doggy door. With a little modification and set, trim and molding the door is permanently installed and looks as though it was made with the door from factory. There was some special modifications needed to install as a permanent but the end results was great. The spring loaded locks (on top of door) served as a 2nd sort of security because I drilled holed in header of jamb and released the spring loaded pins only 3/4 inch into the door frame and used trim/molding to secure remains of door in cavity of side door panel.

What a Relief!
I put my 15 year old son in charge of installing this product and he had it unpacked and installed in about 25 min. This pet door can be used with a screen door in the Summer and with the normal door wall in the Winter. Comes with a thick strip of spongy self-adhesive weather stripping for a snug fit. High quality solid product fits very well and can be installed and removed without harm to the existing door frame. This product does not require cutting of your existing screen and can be easily moved from one door wall to another. This pet door has saved us a lot of hassle with finicky cats wanting to be let out and in a couple hundred times a day! Would definitely recommend this product.
