A:  This product is coated paper and adhesive which is a fire hazard. I would personally not put it too close to the stove if advised otherwise.

A:  Thank you for your follow up question. We would suggest allowing 15" of space to the left and right as well. Hope this information helps!

                      Looks like real tile
What a difference! Wanted to cover ugly wall in our rental and still have the ability to remove if needed. I looked for a while and decided on these. Its a beautiful color, reminds me of the beach. Looks real and only took a few hours

Thought I'd give these a try as an "in the meantime" until I'm able to renovate my kitchen. I currently don't have a backsplash so water, grease, soap, etc. hits the wall and is hard to clean. My first impression was that they don't look like the photo online and are much darker and are almost a green color. Using the word "glass" is a bit of a stretch as these are just puffy stickers and have no glass-like quality to them other than them being very shiny/glossy. The tiles are glossy so they will repel water, but the "grout" is just paper so over time that will probably get soggy and also trap dirt and become not so attractive. They are very sticky, so they may make a mess of your wall when trying to peel them off. Installation of the first set of tiles is easy and it's easy to cut the material, but you have to be precise when cutting along the white paper grout lines. Cutting too much off will throw off the alignment and make them unlevel when you stick them to the wall next to the previous pieces. You get 4 sheets, 10" x 10" each. That can get pretty costly if you want to cover a large area. The package warns against using these near a stove. A stove without a backing needs 15" or more of space above the range to eliminate exposing the tiles to heat. I wouldn't want to experience these melting on your wall by putting them too close! It says they do not recommend using these on countertops or shower walls. They consider this product to be "a more permanent application" but that they can be removed carefully. Overall, I wouldn't recommend these. Maybe if you're looking for a temporary backsplash like me then maybe. Otherwise, invest the money in some real tile. I think these could be marketed towards crafting and not for use in kitchens or areas where there is water.

I was very interested to try this product out, because the idea and design is extremely intriguing. I used the “tiles” to cover the top of an old side table that i had painted in a dark blue to give it some pop. The sheets were very easy to cut, I used both scissors and a utility knife to cut them to size. Covering the table top took about an hour and a half with all the cuts and attempts to keep everything aligned. Based on the set up of the sheets, I had to do a lot of single tile cut outs. I would say overall I am very happy with how it came out. As you can see from the pictures, the end result added some style to the piece. The downfall is the overlap of the pieces and the fact that your essentially using raised stickers led to some minor imperfections in the top (close up picture attached with detail). With that said, unless analyzing the product up close, its tough to notice. I would purchase these again if I had additional spaces that could use a backsplash. Just be sure to take your time and install these with precision and care.

These Peel & Stick backsplash tiles from InHome are 10x10 inches square, and come 4 to a pack. They’re water resistant, easy to trim, install & clean, and have a good strong adhesive backing. They have a very realistic ceramic look, but have a slight rubbery feel to the touch. Not recommended for showers. They’re fairly soft & flexible, and could probably be applied to a slight curve, but I didn’t try this myself (no need). Before I installed these, I thought the seams would be visible or at least felt to the touch, but if lined up carefully it looks & feels continuous. They look great behind my bathroom sink.

The Blue Sea Glass Peel Stick Backsplash Tiles are a quick and easy way to do updated touches to your kitchen or bathroom without using tiles, grout & nohow. These are made of pliable vinyl 10 inch sq. sheets (4) that have a backing that you peel off, revealing the silver tacky side thats applied to the kitchen wall (has to be placed at least 15 inches away from a heat source -remember its vinyl) The "tiles" are raised up in between the grout lines so theres texture when you run your fingers over it. These can be used in the bathroom or different places around the home, even on a eyesore support post that was previously painted -this would really add a contemporary look. Its not to be used on places where there's a lot of moisture like a countertop or shower wall due to moisture affecting the stick. These are wipeable & you get 4 sheets so i think its more for small accents than an entire kitchen wall. Good for craft applications too.
