does it have that beep ever so often to signalo its working.. it scares my dog
The alarm does not beep periodically during normal standby. It only beeps when testing, in alarm, or if there is a low battery or fault condition. If you hear occasional beeps, please check the LED light indicate low battery or sensor error. You can press the TEST/SILENCE button once to temporarily silence the beep.
