A:  Bought this product last summer with the same intentions found it didn't lock together that well. Have done floors before using Pergo products with great results very dissatisfied with this product would not recommend it even on sale.

A:  Model #904067 Tuscan Stone Sand is a discontinued item and The Home Depot has exhausted all remaining inventory. This product is now obsolete.

A:  Yes! Absolutely! That's what I used under it.

A:  No, this floor comes with an attached underlay pad so it is not recommended to install an additional pad, as this will cause added deflection which can compromise the locking system. As it regards noise, this product with the pre-attached padding has sound ratings comparable to the Traffic Master underlayment with an STC rating of 66 and IIC rating of 68. A moisture barrier would only be required when installing over concrete; in those instances, 6 mil polyethylene sheeting should be used over the slab.

A:  Yes, it can be floated over any flat, structurally sound substrate including existing tile as long as it is well bonded and in good repair.

A:  It’s laminate so yes it could. But doing so would raise the overall level of the floor and thus it might not be flush with adjacent flooring in other rooms.
