Hi, thank you for the review. You are correct, it is an edge that we have applied to simulate live edge. We sell 100's of these and have for a few years now. I ordered 2 - 8' long and 1 - 6' long counter tops. The quality is decent but the 8' are made from 1" wide pieces and the 6' is made from 1-1/2" pieces. Luckily I am joining the 8' pieces together in a L shaped corner and not a 6' to an 8'. If they had been placed close together it would be noticeable that they are made from different width boards.

Do not buy
This is not 28 inches wide in any spot . It ranges from 24 - 25 cause of the live edge. This took time to come in and now I am set back on my project because I need to order something else . Unacceptable

Interbuild is taking action to reduce shipping and handling damage with improved factory packaging. Because we are working with wood there is always a possibility there could be a splinter or imperfection. Please keep in mind we put one coat only on our products. They still need to be sealed. Painful delivery time
Product is fine but delivery is terrible even with covid in mind. How a product can go across Canada in 6 days and take another 8days (and counting) to travel 3hours is beyond me.
