Quality is not that great.
Top has multiple hairline cracks between the slats of butcher block and there is what appears to be a large watermark (where the wood is bubbling up) on what I would presume is meant to be the underside. There is also a crack on one end of the block. For 400 I was hoping for better.

Do not purchase, poor quality
This product is not what is pictured. I purchased this top for my island, hand my contractor pick it up and this is what I received. The photos are nothing like the rushed scrap wood top that I received.

Wood countertop looks beautiful
Bought this in the spring just recently got it installed on our kitchen island. Looks beautiful. Feels great with 3 coats hardwax oil.

Hi. Thank you for the review. We take every review seriously. This 8ft X 40in X 1in is a top seller for us. The thing about wood is, there will always be imperfections. A light sanding can fix most of these. Acacia is a hardwood with a natural combination of blended colour. Our panels are unfinished and may need a light sanding. I bought 3 total pieces of the Dusk Grey!
A 6', 7', and an 8' island countertop! All 3 pieces the color did not match, the 7' countertop looked brown, the 8' was Dark Grey, and the 6' was a lite to medium grey!
When it arrived at store each piece was boxed and wrapped, assumed they all matched by labels!
When installing the 7' piece I had to cut 2" off one side. After cutting, I went and sat the 7' long was on to the ground, lowered the other long side down till my fingers touched the floor. Pulled my fingers out, the air pressure of less than a quarter of an inch, snapped off a 2 foot section on the side I did not cut! Could not return the warranty was void if cut!!
Advertising this as stronger than teak wood is false, closer to balsm wood!
Very unhappy with this!

A second coat would have brought the 3 pieces up to the same colour. We have a one year warranty on all our products. I hope you have taken lots of pictures to show us what happened. I purchased this Butcherblock as the tabletop for a Craft desk that I had made for my wife. After arriving I quickly put it on the table and to say my wife is in love with it would be saying it mildly. She loves it! In fact she hasn't come out of the room since I installed it. I've enclosed a picture of her at her table. Great product.

Piece of junk.
Recommend not buy. Had it 6 months. Splitting and separating. Sealed and oiled as per instructions. Not a quality top at a high price. Will be removing it.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Interbuild has sold literally millions of acacia panels since 2004 and the instances of panel failures are very rare. Interbuild backs up its products if there are factory defects but not failures due to installation issues.
