AnswersThe timer can handle up to 40 amps when connected to a 40 amp breaker and the proper gauge wire. Since you are connecting it to a 20 amp circuit, it will only handle up to 20 amps, so you are okay with a 13 amp load.
The timer dial doesn’t advance with time passing. Remains on time set.

My brother was able to hook it up easily. It took a bit to figure out why it wasn’t turning on the times I set. But once I really read the instructions it was easy. Now it turns on my pool every morning on time and shuts down every evening. Definitely like not having to worry about forgetting to turn on my pool pump. I would recommend.

Absolute Junk
Bought the cheaper model of this timer, in 3 weeks it quit working so I bought this timer. Within 3 days it quit working so I returned it and tried this model again. Now 2 months minus a few days, it is not working again. >Now I am getting a refund.
I am turning on and off a ozone generator in a cistern, a 1.5 Amp load, well below the ratings of this unit.
