AnswerI don't believe they have that option. It would be very simple to get a smal can of stain and do this when you set it up.

Depth incorrect, actuall 18" Solid product
The depth of the desktop surface is 18", not 22" as the product specs say. The length is 45" High quality products. I own bookcases by International concepts and the solid wood material and method of assembly make for a great, durable but beautiful products.

Quality writing desk
Having read all the reviews and looked at all my fave online sources, I purchased this writing desk for our young lady to place in her modestly sized bedroom. Home Depot shipped incredibly fast! It does indeed measure 18” deep x 45” wide x 30” height, but it is still an upgrade from her previous child’s size desk--and will fulfill all her homework and remote learning needs. The single drawer is decent size, the desk is solid and easily stained after a fine grit sanding. The wood dowels in the side pieces were crooked, but we made them work. Would absolutely purchase again

Very inaccurate Incorrect dimensions .
I should have read the reviews more carefully. The desk is only 18 inches deep, 4 inches less than advertised. If it had been off by an inch
or two I would keep it but it is quite a bit shallower and does not suit my purposes so I am returning it.
Home Depot should really update the information on this, it is very misleading.

Value for money $$$
Received my desk today and concerned about measurements shown on the website. The desk is truly 45" wide but is not 22" deep but 18". Big discrepancy. It is certainly sturdy and was easy for me (female) to put together. I added wood glue when connecting legs, etc. Was disappointed with the size but keeping it. Plan to use chalk paint to finish.
