AnswersThere are three adjustable shelves. You can adjust them to be 8 to 10 inches from the top or bottom so depending on how and how you adjust them.... if they are evenly spaced it’s 9 inches. It’s pretty solid should hold a heavy book

This looks just like the picture - beautiful and solid. Well made. I hope they keep making them for a long time because I'm saving to buy another. It holds a lot of books and decor items. We are leaving it natural for now because it's so beautiful as is.
