Large Heavy Duty Grain Goatskin Gloves with Spandex Back, Reinforced Palm and Thumb

I really like these Irocat work Gloves. These are very heavy duty gloves. They are made out of grain Goat leather that is 100% in the palm. They are 97% Polyester, and 3% spandex 4 way stretch back for flexibility and ease of movement and high dexterity while working. This Glove also has a reinforced Thumb Saddle for high strength and anti ripping in that high stress area.These Gloves are very easy to put on and are very comfortable, the wrist has an adjustable Velcro strap that will keep your glove from falling off and will fit a variety of Body types. This is a well made glove that will work as hard as you and will give you a lot of service with some serious Hand protection. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

These gloves are really nice and comfortable. I got large because medium is too tight on my hands. So the large fit me a little big. Definitely a true large which sometimes are the problem when I buy gloves. I used them on lumber job framing project and happy to say no slivers made it through. When they wear out which gloves do, I'll get more of these.

Received the Ironcat Large Heavy Duty Grain Goatskin Gloves with Spandex Back, Reinforced Palm and Thumb, White and Black. Was very surprised that they sent me 10 pairs of these great gloves. They are a perfect fit for me, ( I order the Large sized glove), and it looks like I won’t need to buy another pair of work gloves for a long, long, time. The material is exceptionally soft and better made than my normal work gloves. And as they state both palm and thumb are reinforced. As you would expect from work gloves these grip very well and due to having the right-sized glove you can really hold on to what you need to. I've grabbed onto numerous items and nothing has slipped away. If you are in need of a great work glove I would suggest that you check these out.

The goatskin feels a little thinner when compared to cowhide gloves. The gloves are very flexible and comfortable out of the package. I turned the gloves inside out to check the stitch quality. The gloves are double stitched except for the fingers and thumb. (See image below.) The glove material has extra surface so the sewing isn’t right on the edge of the goatskin which would allow stitching to be pulled from the goatskin edges. I could probably fit into a large pair of gloves, but in the summer when it is hot and humid my hands tend to swell a little and the extra-large size fits perfect. The fingers of the gloves are not tight and are long enough to fit my fingers comfortably with a little of room at the tips. With reinforced-palms the gloves are great for handling building material, working with hand tools and outdoor equipment. The smooth goatskin surface provides extra protection to your hands and prevents your gloves from getting snagged on rough surfaces. I tried to swipe my cell phone screen with these gloves and they don’t work on the smooth surface of my smart phone. I would not use these gloves for planting flowers or working directly in the dirt. I would switch to a glove that could be washed or hosed off. The only part of the glove that may cause problems, depending on how big your wrist is, is the Hook and Loop elastic wrist band. Where the rubber tab is sewn to the elastic wrist band and the seam on the other side of the elastic band may rub the underside of your wrist depending on what you are doing while wearing these gloves. Both areas have a small pronounced ridge on the inside of these seams. (See image below.)

I ordered two of the same gloves. One in black and gold and the other in black and white. You will see the same review for both gloves with some minor differences. I ordered a large even though I am a medium. This glove is a perfect fit. It is very comfortable and grips very well. I like to do one test on any glove I order. I have bushes and some have pointed leaves. Some of the gloves I have, you can feel the tip go through the glove which hurts. On this glove, the sharp point did not penetrate the glove. Both gloves are large but this one black and white appear to be a little larger than the black and gold.

These Ironcat work gloves are pretty nice, the goatskin leather is soft but durable and fit the hands nicely with minimum bulkiness. The palms of the gloves and the thumb are reinforced with extra leather. The palms of the gloves are made of 100 % goatskin leather, the topsides are 97 % polyester mixed with 3 % Spandex for flexibility and airflow. Once you put these gloves on, they have a strap at the wrist to adjust the tightness to keep the gloves on. Very comfortable gloves that should last me for a while!

I'm always doing projects so I go through a lot of gloves. Once I tried goatskin gloves, I haven't used any other type. First, goatskin gloves are very durable as are these. Second, unlike cowhide gloves, they don't stain my hands yellow. I like that these gloves have the goatskin in the front side and a stretchy spandex on the back. The velcro wrist holds them snug which I find important when using power tools. Also, the price is very reasonable. I use them for most of my projects.

The Ironcat Heavy Duty Grain Goatskin Leather Palm glove is a great and comfortable glove for welding. The goat skin is supple and flexible and moves well for most movements. The leather does a pretty good job insulating against heat build up when TIG welding. The style is nice, and the back of the glove is fairly breathable. The wrist has a standard hook and loop strap. The only area where the glove falls short, in my opinion, is the tips of the fingers. There is a far amount of loose material in the finger tips, making very fine procedures tricky at best. Since a lot of what I would be using these for involves fine fot ups, those bulky finger tips cost the product a star. But for most electrical or coarse operations, these will work well.

The Ironcat gloves feel great with soft and suede leather fingers and palms, along with some spandex in the creases and back of the hand. They are airy on the top of the hand. The wristband is velcro and snaps up very nicely. The gloves have good padding and grip when picking up sharp rocks. The stitching looks very tight with no loose ends. Good quality gloves by Ironcat.
