Thank you for your inquiry. This door has an R-value of 4.35. For an exterior entry door, an R-value of 4.35 is good, indicating better-than-average energy efficiency.
What is the ACTUAL outer edge jamb to jamb dimension? I spent 30 min. discussing this with a HD associate. We agreed that the Rough in dimension in the Specs may be over estimated. Our conclusion is based off a JW 34" x 80" steel door that we measured.
