Poor quality seals
Bought this door and had it installed by a contractor. Within 2 weeks the sweep on the bottom came apart. Jeld Wen sent me the part which I installed. Several months later when the weather changed I noticed light and cold air coming from the door. Had contractor come back out. Seal leaking. Jeld wen has not called me back.

Lock alignment issue
The door looks great. But I had to chisel out the door latch and dead bolt area due to the lockset not lining up. Had to use shims in top lock holes in door frame to secure to studs. The top door hinge was also off, had to chisel ~ 1/16 inch to have hinge lay flat.

This prehung door came assembled awfully. Quality control is TERRIBLE. Jeld-Wen needs to teach their employees how to use a screwdriver. Every single screw in the hinges was crooked, not to mention the hinge was installed crooked on the door! The weather trim on the bottom of the door was 1/4" too long causing the door to bind. The top and side jambs are not flush so the door still doesn't shut properly. This took me way too long to install because I had to fix all of the mistakes from the factory. I was planning to replace all of the exterior doors on my home with these, but I will be looking elsewhere for the rest of the doors.

It is just what we expected! The only problem we had was that there was some damage (a 3" chunk chipped off) to the wooden frame. My husband picked it up at the store with a friend- but he had just had eye surgery and didn't look it over before taking it. Our own fault for not noticing. Other than that we like it!

Great door and for the money, Awsome. My home was built in the 50s. This door fit the bill just right. Due to the age of my home and the settling it has done over the years mydoorway was some what out of level and plumb. I had to do a lot of shimming and it took me all day, by myself to remove old door and install this new one. The only problems I really have of the door is that when it was assembled caulking was squished out round the window so I had to clean and scrape to get it off. Oh, and a couple more issues, the hinge screws were install very poorly at angles rather than straight on. Also the top hinge wasn’t installed correctly so I had to spend time chiseling to make it work correctly.
It is a nice door overall
