Can the window open up a full 90 degrees?
Asked by Megan December 4, 2020No, the awning windows only open either 23 degrees or 26 degrees depending on the frame size of the window. You can find this information on our web site, go to www;jeld-wen.com, go to the support tab, scroll down to all documents, fill in the information in the filters and you can get the Archectectural Manual that tells you this information. Does this window meet egress requirements for bedrooms?
Asked by da January 8, 2017Thank you for the opportunity to assist you today. Our awning windows do not have the opportunity to meet any egress requirements as our hardware to operate remains anchored to the window frame and operable sash so the egress opening is not clear.
Can I get this window without the grids?
Asked by CarolinaBoy February 23, 2017Hello, Thank you for your inquiry regarding Jeld-Wen products. This unit can be ordered without grilles. However, this is considered a special order. You will need to go into a Home Depot store to place the order for this unit.
