Buyer Beware, You Are Going to Have to Rework These Doors
Purchased this door a 28x60 solid core. What an embarrassment for the Jen Weld company, Home Depot and the buyer for producing, buying and selling this product. The quality control in manufacturing especially the hinge depth, and the door stops a five year old could do better, mitre them, instead of that sloppy mess at the corners. The absolutely infuriating thing is the tiny stripped out from the factory screws at the hinges. This has been noted on other reviews and they still are producing the doors with these tint screws.

I didn’t want the hassle of drilling out for door knobs and hinges. Also I needed a solid door to be able to cut down because our house looks like something from a Tim Burton film. I went online, found it fast and had it fast, the next day. Some quick surgery and up it went, also the next day. The whole thing was easy, fast and cheap.

The mortise in the door was so poorly cut the the hinge would not sit flat. When the screws were then installed (I assume by an automatic machine) they stripped out the door.
The door jambs are not flush by over an eighth of an inch at the top corner.

Price gouging and quality has dropped
I’ve been purchasing hundreds of these doors over the last 20 years. Once the lumber went up, they elevated all the prices on these doors drastically. Then the cost of lumber decreased to the lowest it’s ever been, and they never adjusted the prices. They were a decent door when they were charging $20-$100. Now they are building junk doors at 80-160. Every prehung door I install now I grab my chisel before I even do anything. They are not doing the strike plates, nor the latches deep enough.

Quality Control is Seriously Lacking
Bought so many of these doors over the years doing flips and remodels. They were a decent value at 90 bucks, some were spot on, some needed to be "tuned in", few had to be returned due to manufacturing errors. So, now I'm paying 130.00 for an even crappier door. Yeah, Covid hit, most of your workers were laid off, probably didn't get most of the skilled ones back and hired anybody who was willing to take the job...which reflects in the quality of your doors, now, for more money!! Beware...

The door frame was not aligned correctly from factory, head...
The door frame was not aligned correctly from factory, head jam was a 1/4” in front of the side jam, you cannot see this until you remove packing. This the third Jeld-wen door from H-D, there is zero quality control from Jeld-Wen.
