I took pictures of this post-install to demonstrate what an absolute abomination this version of a Jeld Wen door is. HD management will be bearing about the extra hours it took to noodle a perfectly plumb and level hung door into an operable condition. Never again will I buy one of these. Ever.

Not Long Lasting
I didn't even have my JeldWen door 8 years and already have to replace do to rot I contacted the company about the warranty and they were no help at all. I bet they never have paid a warranty claim and I still had the original receipt

predrilled areas for lock/handle not aligned
When you buy a door, you don't think you'd need to check that the alignment of the locks and latch are correct. This door was a half inch off for the deadbolt and latch to catch. Had to jerryrig to actually use the door with new lock/handle. This is a serious quality control issue.

Buyer beware! The steel plate holding the bottom insulation to the Jen-Weld door is poorly assembled so it extends 1/8" past the door itself, digging into the door frame insulation and creating a gap that allows weather and insects into the house. When you buy this door it is screwed shut and packaged up so you can't see the problem until you get it home and unpackage it. See pictures...ugh, so much work wasted because of a disappointing product!!!

First, I want to point out that this door is one of the least expensive exterior doors at Home Depot with a window. That said, you get what you pay for. I bought two of these 36x80 9 lite primed steel prehung doors for the shop I just built. If I was purchasing an entry door for my house, I would have spent more money and probably would not have found the flaws I found in these doors. Here are some things I found problems with.
On both doors every screw that held the hinge to the door were set at an angle and not square and perpendicular to the door. The screws holding the hinge to the jamb were straight.
On both doors the adhesive holding the window frame to the door was coming out from under the frame.
I'm pretty good at following directions, but I thought the installation instructions were too generalized, vague and not clear.
On one door the steel cladding was put on incorrectly and the door was not square in the door frame. I had to shave off at the hinge to get it square.
The bottom sweep on the door was not centered and hung off the edge.
For the money this is a decent door, but if you are looking for perfection, spend some more money on a better door.
Lastly, If you have 2x6 construction, you need a jamb extender or you need to special order a door with a wider jamb.

Not a great product for windy places
"The steel plate holding the bottom insulation to the Jen-Weld door is poorly assembled so it extends 1/8" past the door itself" This was from another comment I had previously read, and it was right on. I ended up keeping it because I live 2hours from neared Home Depot. I was very disappointed and ended up using and fixing one of my old doors which I knew would fit. I would appreciate a call or email reply. NOTE : dust, water and small insects get in through the bottom.
