The JENSEN SR-50 Portable AM/FM Digital Radio can go anywhere you go. The radio features a rubberized finish, digital tuning with 10AM + 10FM presets and backlit LCD display. It is also a dual alarm clock with snooze and wake to radio or alarm functions. The unit operates on 4 x 'AA' batteries or with an AC adaptor (not included). No way to turn it OFF
Bought this radio because it's portable. THERE IS NO OFF SWITCH! You can put it on standby but you cannot turn it off. In standby the batteries drain overnight. Do not buy this product unless you own a battery factory.

Took a chance on this radio based on the reviews...
Took a chance on this radio based on the reviews I read. I should have listened to the reviewers who gave this product lower ratings. This radio worked well for the first couple of weeks but then began to experience problems with battery drain and tuning and volume dials acting strangely. It's unfortunate as the radio has a really nice look to it and has multiple features I liked.

This is a good looking radio at first sight. But functionally it falls flat. The multi function power button is annoying, and changing between preset channels is also annoying. Then the first set of batteries only last 3 weeks with little use. After changing the batteries the radio had lost the time and all the preset channels, and it was a pain in the butt setting them. I guess you get what you pay for... it's going back.
