          Answer This Question

A:  you don't put NM cable in conduit. Exceptions are: physical protection and running below ground. That being said one 12/2 NM-b in half inch conmduit.

            1 found this answer helpful

A:  If using it for protection from physical damage you might fit two nm-b 12-2. But only 1 uf12-2.

A:  Since I'm not sure what type wire you're talking about, I'm going to assume emt, if so, its not supposed to be run in conduit do to heat issues.

A:  Yes, but don't forget to glue parts together. Also, remember this pipe expands on hot weather.

A:  Yes it is UV sunlight stable. However, pvc pipe is designed to be malleable when heated. So what I found is that if you run the conduit vertically and use straps it will be fine. If you intend for it to be run horizontally off the ground, then you will need to limit the run to 4 or 5 ft or use straps every 2 feet. I ran about 100ft horizontally at about a 4 ft height with straps every 5ft. Came back the next year and the conduit looked like the waves in the ocean! On the ground this is normally not an issue.

Works great Did ground electric wire but also did this PVC due to Chipmunks in the yard. The only thing is the 90s made pulling the ground wire very very hard, if you do it go up a size.
              Easy to use and handle

This is a very strong conduit that can be used for either above ground or below ground. It is very easy to work with. Solvent cement will make the connections water tight , in the event you are running it underground. The price is good too!
