Excellent quality product. Works well. Upon extension tends to bow abit when using lopper, but that would be expected. I am a 67 year old, 5'4" female and manage quite well! Highly recommend. Well worth the cost.

I borrowed one of these from my neighbor, and loved it. Which is why I purchased this one. The quality of this product is good, but this model has changed over time now has a smaller trimming area to cut branches with. And I didn't realize the change until I purchased this product. I am disappointed because I can't do the same amount of work with it I was hoping. I don't know why companies change their design over time but I imagine it has to do with money..

The saw costs a little more, but the quality is noticeable. It requires a bit more muscle to manually cut branches than an electric pole saw. The pruning attachment is nice to cut smaller branches and the hook is a useful feature to grab branches stuck in the canopy and pull them to the ground.

Pole pruner works fine, sharp blade, fairly easy to use. My suggestion, prior to your using the pruner, ensure that all nuts and bolts are securely tightened. I assumed everything would be in working order, but after several cuts with the pruner, the cutting blade fell off the pole. I could not find the screw and nut, but luckily I had something that was able to fit, and finished my pruning job.

Exceptional tool
Excellent tool that did what it was supposed to do. The double lock telescoping pole really did lock and not slip. The saw blade was thicker than in store models and the clippers could handle a larger diameter. Although it costs more money, if you have trees to trim annually, spend the money. The tool is many times superior to the lower priced in-store model which I started out with and fought ever time I tried to use it.

Versatile, Cuts Great
Very versatile, high quality tool. Telescoping handle is recommended and better than separate sections (no loose parts), especially when you are doing a general trimming job with limbs at various heights. The handle locks firm. Cuts through large limbs great. Good leverage. Easy snap-in to switch heads. Much better than the cheap stuff in-store.

THis product is well made and performs all of our trimming needs.
We bought this trimmer primarily to cut the dead frawns from our king palms. The saw works great on the tough, dry wood. We have also used the pruner to trim out high branches in the olive trees. It works great for both applications.
