I suppose you could do so, it's definitely compatible with additional poles. The extra length will make the unit incredibly cumbersome, however.

When I was trying to prune a branch that was fairly thick, the pole would bend when rope was pulled. I had to wiggle the chop blade back out of cut and then give the rope a hard pull to get it to cut. But on smaller branches, very little bend

Unscrew the hexagonal bolt at the top and the screw below, put the blade there and screw the bolt again. Hope it helps.

was exactly what was stated, strong, light weight, went together easy, blade was sharp, an the head was professional , great product. I used it on a 25 ' blue spruce. took 5' off the top, and took 2-3" off the sides, and now it is manageable, and reachable for years to come.

Not the best quality
I tried to attach the saw blade and the screws don't quite line up with the holes in the saw blade. As a result you can't screw the bottom screw in. I plan to take it return it to Home Depot.

Terrible product the screws strip on it without any forcing them. Terible wuality. Blade is chinese junk. Putting the blade on is dfficult. I could fin no manual instructions with it - nothinonline. No youtube videos. Its going back to the store tomorrow get a corona or something that works. Junk. I wouosnt buy this unoess you know alot about these saws. You wont find anything online about them. Dont buy this. A favor from me to you. The pole was nice. The chopper thing is real small cant cut much wirh it. But that is what the curved aaw blade is for and attatching said saw blade is not apparent or easy. Homedepot surly will send it back to jameson. Jameson make it easy. Complete the fit. Make it simple

I wanted the all metal head (no plastic gears) so I bought this one. It is just OK. It requires a lot of strength to cut with the pruner because the arm is too short to give much leverage. Other models have a double pulley to give the operator a mechanical advantage. Expected more for the price.

It works very well, but broke the second time I used it. One of the pins in the chain came out. I've tried to get Jameson to replace, but so far have had no luck.
