I like it alot. I wish it had stiffer supports to help facilitate hanging the hose when not in use.

Works as expected. Some reviews say it’s quiet. I wouldn’t classify it as quiet. Ambient noise in my shop with no other tools running is 40db. The dust collector in installed in a 3'x3’ closet inside my shop. At my table saw with the JetDC-1100VX-5m running it’s 65db. In the closet the sound level is 89db which is just under OSHA levels.

Comparing to the ShopVac I had been using isn't relevant...this...
Comparing to the ShopVac I had been using isn't relevant...this system is sufficient for my needs and was no problem assembling by myself in less than 45 min...obviously, more $ required to outfit with 4" hose & connectors...all considered, it cost less than a divorce lawyer which appeared to be imminent because of dust...I would recommend if it meets a small shop requirements

Excellent machine which I use when ever I am cutting...
Excellent machine which I use when ever I am cutting or sanding wood in my basement workshop. It removes a lot of dust from the air and I don’t get as many complaints from my wife. Highly recommend this piece of equipment.

I haven't had a lot of time to use the...
I haven't had a lot of time to use the new vac. It has a great deal of suction over my old Penn unit. The on/off switch is very low to the ground. I wasn't expecting the cheesy plastic bag for the saw dust collection. My old unit had a heavy cloth/felt bag with a see through window to gauge how full it was with sawdust.
