Q:I want to use this on top of peel and stick vinyl plank flooring, before I lay down 6MM thick vinyl plank click and lock over top of it. The click and lock vinyl has an attached underlayment and doesn?t require an adhesive. Will I need to do anything else

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Grandfather passed away in March, my Grandma is in a memory care facility that does not take her insurance. We desperately need to sale her home for the highest dollar possible to allow her to stay in the care facility she’s comfortable, without the added stress of more change. Unfortunately their home was not maintained well in the past few years since both their health declined. We found water damage under almost every sink. There was an unpleasant odor. We used Kilz not only under the sinks but also as a primer on all the trim in the house before painting. The house smells like a new home. We feel confident the house will sale soon and the new owners will be buying a clean, freshly painted home.

Very Ppor Adhesion - Complete Disaster
I used the Kilz Restoration on the interior repaint of the my Lance RV Trailer. I prepped the walls with Ammonia wash and the stained cabinets with sanding. It was a complete disaster. The priduct states it performs like oill-based primer. IT DOES NOT. I sprayed the whole thing with two coats primer and two coats Benjamin Moore paint. The primer adhasion to the substrate is very poor. Whole sections would rip off when i removed the blue masking tape. Even after a few weeks of cure time, if you scrape againt a surface, the paint/primer will come off down to the underlying finish. I totally regret not using an oill based primer.

Great product for many projects
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I lost my mother 9 months ago but prior to that her house caught fire in one bedroom but the smoke caused most of the Lower level black smoke on all the walls in the home I began to repair the home I had to wash the walls down first and I brought 5 gallons KilZ for restoration the was amazing for the smell from the smoke and cover the discoloration very well I continue to use it but the all purpose one that stuff give me hope with the work the I am doing to restore the home.Thanks KILZ your the best.

Pet odors be gone!!

I'm so glad we did!!! It's been a week since our new carpet was installed and we still can't smell the terrible smell from before. It covered great with only one coat! Thank you Kilz!!!

Worked perfectly
Did alot of research for a primer to cover heavily yellowed drywall in a garage. Was trying to avoid oil as im not experienced with it and didnt want to have any issues as this was for a customer. Went with this one as it claimed the performance of an oil or shellac. This stuff worked perfect. The yellow stain never bled through. And after a week now still nothing so im very happy with this product

Covered everything!
