A:  El Paso is of zone 8

      by|Apr 23, 2023

A:  Hi there - Not quite sure what you mean by "zone,". I live just outside of Dallas, TX and I have several of these rose trees in pots on my patio and they are amazing! They survive the 110 degree heat in the summer and also the North Texas winters (a little below freezing) in the winter. They are easy to care for and I recommend them. I got a little greenhouse cover for really cold winter frosts and they love that. Someone also told me you can use it for 110 or extreme heat. The greenhouse is a little terrerarium. They are great though! Texas has a great climate for roses.

A:  I don’t remember if I got it one or 2 day before the day due, I was so excited, to hit it earlier

A:  Mine arrived with UPS yesterday and the boxes were in bad shape and the driver left mine with the arrows pointing down so the branches were bent and broken/ Very unhappy with UPS!! Thank goodness the pot came wrapped in a plastic bag with a zip tie otherwise all of the dirt would have been emptied.

                Beautiful Once it Thrives
Purchased for mom for Mother’s Day rather than flower bouquet. She was quite disappointed when it arrived as appeared to be mere “branches.” Nearly 6 weeks later, little tree is growing beautifully (lives in SoCal, for reference). Mom highly recommends now.

Arrived as a heathy hardy plant! Very impressed with the quality! Unlike the rose bushes that I ordered from Lowe’s…Home Depot is the place to order plants!

This is a beautiful rose tree and it was packaged well and very healthy. It finally bloomed a few days ago, but the blooms are bright pink, not red. So I’m torn on whether to keep or return it.

Do really well in hot weather
Love my double knockout rose trees. I’m so excited Home Depot has them, I plan on purchasing 3 more. They are smaller roses and more of a pink color. I had mine for about 3 years and they have done really well in the Arizona heat. I get so many compliments on my roses.

                    Love it, it’s absolutely beautiful
It was one of the first rose bushes I bought and in a little over a month it started blooming and is not slowing down.

                      So beautiful!
I was so anxious to have this rose tree shipped, but there was no need to worry. It is in great shape and even has some roses already in bloom! Here is a picture of it right out of the box. It also smells amazing. I love it. I can’t wait for our late season freeze to end so I can plant it.

I'd definitely buy this tree again.
I was worried that the tree might come with barely any leaves. I was also worried the grafts might not be healthy, like on some trees I'd seen abandoned at the store. But it arrived in good shape. I was very pleased with the delivery. It's yet to flower but you can see the buds already appearing. I'm learning patience from waiting for this trees to blossom. I'd definitely buy here again, when we move to a different house.

I think these reviews are based on when the plant was ordered and shipped. I ordered when there was no threat of frost and when a cargo plane couldn’t become too hot. I ordered 2 of these and both are beautiful. One box even arrived with the top part of the box crushed in shipping and the plant was not damaged. I can’t say if the color is what I ordered since the buds still haven’t bloomed - I can say both plants are healthy. They even look better then a similiar plant i saw being sold at a local nursery. I bought from an online nursery last year and all 4 I ordered arrived dead. So far all of the plants I have ordered from HomeDepot.com have been beautiful and healthy. I’d recommend ordering from them.
